OK this lady is a gem! Omigosh I only went to have a look, but she persuaded me to get some shoes for my son for around £35. Now normally I go to shoezone, but since they disappeared from Cameron Toll my options were open. It was the best purchase ever! My son usually goes through shoes, but these have lasted! Thank you, you were totally right, and by some stretch I've actually saved money! Who knew!! Fantastic ambassador for Clarks. There was a gentleman too (who helped in his cheeky way with my son, I forgot his name too, but he was around 40s, and hair absent lovely guy.)

This is now a 'sale shop' rather than a full Clarks store, and as such it only stocks what's on the shelves. The selection of mens' boots and leather shoes is very limited and I couldn't find what I wanted. The store assistant was very nice and offered to look online to see if I could get shoes delivered to the store, but I really wanted to try something on that day.

Absolutely dreadful service. Dragged the kids here on a weekend to get the wee one?s feet measured; when we managed to flag down a member of staff, she said to come back in 15m. No problem - we asked if we should take a ticket or leave a name? no, apparently we either ?should have booked online?, should have realised they?d only have two staff on duty, should have known this was now a ?clearance / sale? shop or should come back in 15-20m and they would ?hopefully? fit us in. I?m not dragging a 3yo round the shops for 20m based on ?hopefully? getting her feet measured.My mum used to bring me here as a kid to have my feet measured. They had this incredble pair of technologies to use at the time; one was a paper ticket machine that issued numbered queuing tickets to deal with busy days, and the other one was staff actually capable of critical thought. I guess our local Clarks is no longer the brand it once was where you could walk in and expect actual customer service rather than harried bleating.

I took my eight year old to this store today. Both staff were super friendly. It was really busy and I still felt we got a personal service from I think Fiona. Her colleague was also friendly. Daughter is thrilled with her boots. Excellent value.

A woman in the store helped me pick out shoes for my daughter, she had said the size down would be better for her as she had small feet, not even 6 weeks later I'm back again needing to buy more shoes for my 1 year old. It's a frustrating situation because if her shoes were in her size to begin with I wouldn't have an issue with them not fitting so soon as I understand kids feet grow fast especially at her age, but the fact she's recommended the size down and now they don't fit, there was nothing that could be done as I spoke to a man when I went in for the 2nd pair and he was helpful but obviously they are now worn so I couldn't even return them or exchange them for the correct size. The man even said himself that it was strange she would recommend that as that's not something they normally do, I'm now almost £50 out of pocket because of this, in my opinion, bad recommendation.

Mum is 78 and has dementia. We popped in here today to get her 2 pairs because you trust Clarks to deliver comfortable, sensible and long-lasting shoes. The staff were brilliant, especially Fiona (I really hope I?ve got the name right), who dealt with us and who also has personal experience with dementia. We ended up with a pair of black ?Funny Dream?, which she liked so much that she wore them out of the shop, and slightly surprisingly a pair of ?Champagne Nalle Lace? which she now has on and have become her new favourite shiny thing- ?too good for the garden? apparently. Fiona was wearing a pair herself - always trust the experts. Clarks? staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and understanding and I would thoroughly recommend the shop experience. Here?s hoping the shoes deliver as well as the staff did going forwards.
