After paying for a carpet we decided it wasn't right for the room so changed to a different one, we had to pay again and they'd refund us for original (not sure why since it was same price. We were told refund would take 24 - 48 hours. 1 month later and we still haven't been refunded. When we asked about it we were told it had been processed. Checked with bank and they said it hasn't. Now haven't to dispute which can take upto 90 days. Not happy is an understatement

The fitters were absolutely amazing, Alan and his team were quick and faultless in their work. They also provided top banter and answered every noob question I had about carpets! The staff at the central carpets were very welcoming and friendly, shout out to Jim who talked me through every step of the process, from budget to underlay and all in between. Great experience and I recommend them to everyone I know! Thanks again

Terrible service. After placing an order there was a whole range of issues with the job (incorrect orders, poor customer service, failing to book fitters etc), culminating in Blair overcharging me and then lying about it

The range of carpets was exceptional, the help and expertise was outstanding. Delivery of carpets ... was shocked and must admit a younger lad wearing a Rangers scarf and using a crutch to walk (felt like he was doing it on the side) carpet on his shoulder was certainly opened my eyes up, apparently he was a fitter and he was "f**king strugging to lift a carpet" up a flight of stairs. Some alarm bells ringing with him, would not recommend him fitting the carpets, his swearing was shocking, every other word was abusive. So glad I decided on another fitter, delivery let the team down. Shop staff were exceptional (the older gent was outstanding) but the delivery really let the team down, need to rethink your delivery staff.

Can?t fault the work however the use of language that was used on my home in front of myself and litter sister was not appropriate at all! A lot of swearing as if they were in the pub and on the phone the conversation of master*bating was discussed twice which made us both feel very uncomfortable which is not nice when your in your own home and paid a fair bit of money that you have saved for to get some carpets

Was supposed to have someone measure for stair and landing on Tuesday. No show so called the shop to be told the guy would get to me as he was in the area. Called yesterday to be told no available appointments for another week. Called today to be told that the guy is off sick. Asked to speak to the manager. He then tells me the company has new directors and they sacked the estimators, and the fitters are doing the estimates now. Apparently they are struggling to get the work done. No call or text to tell me that they would not be coming neither. To top it all the lovely Manager just told me that it is a free estimate anyway and if I am not happy I?ve to go somewhere else. I wonder what the new directors will think about that for quality service then, let?s find out.

Great experience ar Central this week. No pressure sales environment, knowledgeable staff thar ensure you get what you are after. Needed to make an adjustment to the order once it had been paid, and they could not have been more helpful and processed a refund promptly with no issues. Highly recommended

Not very nice fitter, wasn't going to put metal bar down which I paid for. & also told me that because I never asked for sealant around my bath & toilet & sink he wasn't going to do it. Does that not get done automatically ??? I would think so . He done it , very reluctantly. To say not a great start to my day is an understatement.
