“We hadn't booked a table, however that wasn't an issue on the Wednesday we visited. While looking at the menu, we received some complimentary prawn crackers, such a lovely gesture ?. We both ordered the spring rolls, which came with a slightly spicy sauce and both were delicious. Our main courses of Beef with Green Pepper and Black Bean sauce and Szechuan Chicken arrived shortly afterwards, along with some egg fried rice and Noodles( both served in a wooden lidded bowl). Both dishes were amazing. We ordered a bottle of wine and and the waitress kept coming back and pouring it for us, again a lovely touch. Bill for 2 of us with the service charge came to around £50.00 and it was definitely value for money. At no time did we feel we were being rushed, we never felt they wanted us to leave, and when we did, they were really friendly and genuine, and we left feeling extremely valved. The best customer service we have experienced in a long time. Would 100% recommend ?”

“The interior valet completely transformed my car which had years of ingrained dog hair, kids food, stains and mud. The inside was spotless after the valet, far exceeded my expectations! “Called in, as I always do to refuel before a long drive north. My exhaust was giving me trouble and been unable to get any garage to tie it up with a metal strap to let me get on my essential journey north. On the forecourt was a man called Davie, wearing high-vis Shell gear. He offered to fill my car, but I'd already begun. He said he'd noticed my car was noisy. I told him the exhaust was hanging down and was hoping I'd get north 150 miles without it falling off. He very kindly said he'd have a quick look. So after fuelling, I took my car over to a quieter spot where Davie, got the jack out of my boot, jacked the car up and said he thought he could tie it up. After a bit of thought, Davie found a metal ring in his car that was big enough to loop round the offending pipe and tie off. Raising the exhaust back to it's original position. This took him no more than 10 minutes. I was delighted with the result and Davie was pleased he'd been able to effect a good repair. I set off and Davie stood listening to the now purring car and bade me farewell with a smile and a wave. Then I drove into a 2 hour traffic jam and my whole journey took 5 hours, tiring, but less noisy, thanks to Davie's deft repair. Thanks to Davie, I got home safely, with my car intact. It's booked in to have the new exhaust fitted this week. I have to say, he did this with a smile and a glad heart, despite wearing a bandage on his arm, supporting an injury of some kind, (I thought it rude to ask). Davie is a real asset to the staff at Crewe Toll filling station, and his cheerful, friendly welcoming disposition would put any frayed motorist at ease. I hope you enjoyed your pint Davie. Cheers! “Great stop. Quick service nice bright clean shop. While I was waiting in the line be served rush hour typical monday morning. Couldn’t help notice lady on took time with elderly customers. Seems have a good bond this alone made me smile inside. one elderly man actually said me she’s the best when lady served me I was greeted with a warm smile short interaction but very pleasant. “Frequently pop in here to get the car washed/chamoised...they do the car wash faster than an automated one! This weekend, had a full valet - £30. Amazing value and the car was spotless. All the guys are super friendly and hard-working. Been to many valeting services and this is hands-down, the best. It's also handy for Porty beach, plenty of cafes and a lovely walk”

“Handy location, friendly staff but that blasted Costa coffee machine never works properly.My main reason for visiting this Shell is to use the Costa machine and get hot caffeine.Tip: If Costa's machine won't serve you then there is an all-night McDonalds within rolling distance that will.There's a loo here, a car wash, an easy courtyard to navigate and generally no queue. Staff are friendly but customers rarely wear masks.The food options are newsagent good but there's not much in the way of hot alternatives.Seafield is both a blessing and a curse. I've seen likes of police cars pull up outside. There's sometimes speed traps. Occasionally there's even drama with the nearby crematorium; I've seen drunk/distraught mourners out on the road. On the other hand it is THE direct route between Portobello and Leith.”

“I don't have a car myself, but have just passed the best part of an hour watching Autovalet clean a car outside my flat. The guy did a very thorough job inside and out and the car is now absolutely gleaming. 10/10. More entertaining to watch than last night's Line of Duty episode.”
