Not sure what's happening with this company but it's certainly changed this year . Alot off staff/carer changes which makes this difficult for my mother in law to deal with . She just gets a good relationship with the carers and they either leave the company or go off ill and don't return .. I believe its good for service users to build a good relationship with there carers ,to gain there trust etc .. This was a great Care company when I changed my mother in law here but its certainly not the case now .. I don't feel the office staff are very approachable and there knowledge isn't very good . Could this be due there non understanding off service users needs . If this continues I don't know what my options are because care is hard to come by these days ...Maybe Dundee office /carers needs to be accessed too find out what the problem is from an idependant sourse

Feedback from one of our shared 90+yr old clients: answer message is too quiet/speaks too fast/not understandable for making out which options to press; not knowing who is coming is stressful to know if they know what to do to help; having no one show up for morning schedules & office being in the dark as to the no show is worrying; many carers forget to help with my medicines.

The care inspectorate only rate this company as a good, which means the have a great deal to do to provide quality service for those being cared for. The rating for inspection are Excellent , Very good , Good and further down from that rating of good basically means unacceptable. Who knows what happens with elderly with dementia , who do not have family to check that carers or company are doing what they should do. Many do not have adequste insevice traing with dementia carers to not always follow the care plan. Somed

Coming up 4 years working in Edinburgh and the staff are lovely. The care sector has suffered recently and Call In Homecare has managed to stay on top of things. Company is run smoothly, and the office staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Always on hand if you need anything or have any questions. Training is second to none, and is updated frequently. I love working here.

Worked as a carer 2 years ago from the willow brae office and loved my job, office staff were lovley and loved my clients! Only left to go work in care home but after circumstances felt could no longer do that Job either so started working in the office at Willow Brae again and love my job even more! All Staff have been so lovely and welcoming and help each other at every opportunity, definitely best job I have had in a while ??

"Dundee"The way you treat your staff is disgusting.Covering up client overdoses and bullying front line carers. If you are thinking about using this company to look after your loved one's, don't! its run by office staff who have no clue on employment law.

Extremely disappointed with the "service" of call-in-homcare.Despite numerous phone calls to the office and them assuring me that my mums care would be delivered as per her care package this sadly is not the case.I have even went through the proper procedure for complaints and receiving a letter from the service manager stating that she would "investigate" and i would receive the outcome within 28 days heyho still waiting! This company seem to be incapable of delivering the service that they advertise and when challenged they seem to be unable to deal with complaints in a professional way.

They employ non-English, smelly and rude foreigners. Don't get me wrong but I am a non-native been here for twenty years and have seen the staff go from bad to worse. Unwashed, sweaty and overweight carers that come in reeking of smoke and sometimes alcohol.

Excellent company to work for. Management are very approachable and really care about their staff. Always someone at the end of the phone if and when you need them.

Extremely poor service. Regular carers were taken from my Mum for permanent double up service in Linlithgow. When my Mum was dying and needed this I was told I'd have to find another company. She had been with them for over 2 years. Lying is endemic in the company, Mike phoned to say bluntly there was no one to do the pm call, he was so inept he didn't know the pm carer was beside me doing the am call when he called her immediately after to say I had cancelled and to do another call. They are very rude, Angela wouldn't tell me the name or phone details of the owners and disparaged Miguel, who I thought was in charge, saying he can't do anything. Morning calls could be any time from 8am to 12.15pm or frequently no show all together. There was no consistancy or continuity of care. I had excellent carers, very competent, professional and kind to my Mum and I called the company to say about the quality of the care. After about a year and a half things changed, they were not treated with any respect and were forced to leave. Most of the people needing care do not have a voice and certainly would not be able to deal with this company, they are extremely frustrating. I was there to see what was going on. They keep saying they are a business but they would not survive in any other sector, they are taking money for services they are not providing.

I worked here for 2 years 7 months and loved my job until they opened new office in Livingston and employed under qualified staff who thought they knew everything . When asked to build up our run after losing so many clients over the festive period was told if your not happy just leave . That's no way to treat the staff who are out fronting the company .so if you decide to work for call in I would work Edinburgh where the staff are qualified and very nice.
