Ordered a large Americano and gave the manager my large Caffè Nero Cup. She proceeded to to charge me for a regular black Americano plus an extra shot of espresso. This turned out to cost more that a large Americano. After disputing the charge I gave it back to her and asked for a refund.
I have been going to Caffè Nero all over the country for years and this is the only store that does this.
I would understand if I had a small Caffè Americano cup but I have been using the large Caffè Americano cup.
She left a sour taste in my mouth and I will only go back there when the manager is not working. Otherwise there a plenty of Caffè Nero?s stores nearby that actually smile and do what is right.

Nice location in a quiet square. Seating outside. Usual cafe Nero experience. Efficient staff. Great cakes. Good coffee. Much better than Starbucks.

I decided to try their vegan cheesecake, which I've enjoyed at other Cafe Nero locations without any problems. Unfortunately, this time it upset my stomach significantly. This incident raises concerns about the storage or hygiene practices at this specific location. Based on my experience, I would advise avoiding any cakes or desserts from this Cafe Nero.
