Lovely hot chocolate.
Great position in the station just next to platform 2.
Perfect for waiting for somebody to arrive.
No toilets here but plenty just round the corner in the station.

So, went here to get the usual. Had a look at the confectionary, the man serving wouldn't give us a chance to look - we were very clearly deciding what we wanted. He asked us what we all wanted, had a pretty bad attitude about it. His general tone and atmosphere made us feel like he couldn't be bothered serving us. The drinks were fine at best, but pretty watery. When one of the men asked me about my drink since it was oatmilk only, he acted as though it were strange. I'm lactose intolerant, so it's pretty normal and common. Yeah, just overall vibe wasn't great - very awkward and rude. Never going back here.

Cafe Mero is within Waverley station.Its fine for a quick coffee whilst waiting for a connection

The amount of garbage these chains produce is absolutely spectacular!
Thousands of tons of waste very difficult to recycle and I absolutely do not see them doing anything to improve. Why can't they behave like the rest of Europe?

Baristas were both pretty rude, it was late in the evening (11th Dec @ 6:30pm) so there was no queue but they were very insistent we hurry up and order as fast as possible and didn't even give us time to ask my gf parents what they wanted to drink. It was like both baristas were really annoyed about something before we even got there.

Visited here to collect a Too Good to Go bag after reaching there from Manchester by train. Friendly staff and good for value bag. Food was good and we had them for our breakfast in the hostel.

The interior is too dark. Could do with brightening up. The staff are great, but again, the interior lacks a welcoming embrace.

I have used this Cafe Nero many times throughout the last 2 years. The service is always quick, the staff is knowledgable and most importantly it is always clean.
