Great little charity shop with affordable clothing and other goods. Staff were super friendly and even chased me to give me an item I had forgotten.

I just popped into buy a nice pair of shoes and a lovely pair of cord like material jeans great value. I was sat in the corner trying on the shoes when two men walked in who were clearly there to steal and the way the manger dealt with them and kept her cool but stern voice was what really impressed me and as I walked out a young Asian lady said goodbye with a lovely smile and kinda made me feel embarrassed ? by these Scottish people's behaviour as she was clearly there to begin volunteering and would just like to apologise on these young people's behaviour. What's going in today's society they feel it acceptable to go steal from a charity shop the three lady's really impressed me on how they handled the situation. Thank you, 10 out 10 the customer service.

some of the items on sale are ok, bit overpriced for items too.. I like vintage and retro furniture but quite honestly, seen better stuff online and at a much more reasonable price.... some items I saw are actually cheaper brand new to be honest

Booked a home uplift with BHF for 30th September. Nobody arrived, no phone call despite the fact that I'd waited in all day. Rebooked the uplift for 7th October, same thing happened. However, when I phoned the Assistant Manager of the shop resolved the problem very quickly. Great customer service, thank you.

after having moved to Edinburgh from London i was surprised to find the vast array of charity shops, upon closer inspection the quality of furniture and electrical goods has really helped me settle in to the city without bankrupting myself instantly, the staff re volunteers and are very helpful, the delivery costs are reasonable but i advise buying 2 or three things at time to make that one off charge more valuable,it is worth looking around the different branches to find matching items or quality products, and after all the proceeds are going to charity.

I love this charity shop as it's near my bank and therefore I can pop in regularly. It's definately worth doing that as the stock turnover in this store is high and varied. They have a good handbag section, but the best part is the books. They encourage you to return your book after reading and most people do, leading to new titles appearing regularly. For £2 a shot it works out great for reader and charity shop.
