Please correct the opening hours on Google maps AND on your automated telephone service. Both state incorrectly that you are open between 13.00 and 14.00

This is a very small branch of Boots with only 3 staff members including the pharmacist. They?ve always been very helpful and knowledgeable. I noticed other reviewers leaving bad feedback based on the fact that this branch closes each day between 1pm - 2pm.
This occurs because by law, the dispensing pharmacist must be available onsite at all times when medicine is being handed over to customers?.even if by non-pharmacist staff. It?s for patient safety. Therefore that branch MUST close for 1 hour else the one and only pharmacist would not be able to take a break during the entire working day. Obviously, the 2 other staff members, will have to take their break at the same time. They cannot stagger staff breaks as they only have 3 staff, this is a very busy branch and all 3 members must therefore be on duty at the same time.

I was looking for a hard to find medication yesterday and although they didn?t have it in stock, - the assistant managed to track the medication at another boots store and then promptly called that store to have the medication held for me to collect.The assistant didn?t need to do that but she took time out her day to help me.

The only store that closes at lunch, just when people get time off and would be able to collect their prescriptions. Most stores stagger their lunches so they can provide a service.

The closing in the middle of the day (the only time many people can get to a chemist) is very frustrating. Unclear why this pharmacy needs to close for lunch when others don't
