I'm being very generous with the stars here mainly because they do have a good range available at a good range of price points. Also there must be some staff here that are hard working, polite etc, isn't there?
Like several other reviews. Been kept waiting at tills, queues building up, short tempered/irritable staff.
Just a bad experience overall.

The slowest service at the pharmacy. Something needs to be done about it as it is showing in so many reviews. Boots you need to investigate this.

Was at the craigleith store to collect a prescription but witnessed a member of staff ( middle aged lady with pink hair) being rather aggy towards her fellow male colleague. Don't know if this just her general manners but if my work colleague spoke to me that way we would be having words! I know he felt hurt by her manners as we just looked at one another whilst she was having a go at him...very unprofessional. The young man was extremely polite and helpful so I don't know what her attitude problem was but she certainly had an attitude.

Doesn?t always have everything in stock that I need. However, members of staff are usually helpful and today the lady on the till was particularly so. Thanks!

Travelled from Fife since website list shop as having a benefit make up counter to find they only have the same small stand as most of the rest of the branches do.

Awful pharmacy. Waited ages in a queue to hand in prescription. The girl found the medicine right away but told me l had to come back in 35 minutes. I went off to another store and returned 40 minutes later to discover my prescription still hasn't been made up. In the end, waited for more than an hour. Staff were extremely rude with no eye contact or apologies. Avoid at all costs!

Sick & tired of going into the pharmacy here & prescriptions not being ready despite receiving 3-4 days prior direct from the doctors surgery. Furthermore, do not mind waiting in a queue as fully understand how busy they can be, but I expect my wait to be acknowledged & eye contact made - they may well be qualified pharmacists but they are also in a customer facing role & dealing with the public. Could learn a thing or two from their colleagues in the general retail part of Boots.1/03/24Yet another example of the shoddy service received by this particular pharmacy - been in again to collect a prescription of necessary medication only to be given the wrong items, I had 2 prescriptions awaiting & have only been given the one! I will now need to drive back, wait in the never ending queue AGAIN & no doubt have a battle on my hands to prove that another awaits me even though my surgery have tracked said prescription & have confirmed it is there !Sort it out Boots Craigleith !!!!

Was at the shop today and using the self service till to pay for my two packs of strepsil and a face wipes was supposed to use my boots card but i forgot to tap my advantage card through so that the prices of my strepsil could be reduced down to the special offers. Then i went and ask this blonde older lady with galsses at the cashier till next to the self check out till for help if i could maybe get some help with how i can get the boots advantage card offers price (which i usually using it anyway.) Then this staff lady i just described was giving this offend look back to me and no smiles at all very rude felt like i was being racist because she offered this nice gentlemen at the back of me to come forward so he could collect his order she said cause hes been waiting for awhile but for me no thank you or anything i had to even say sorry to her for being so fogetful and didn't want to waste her time to do this but no words or anything back after everything sorted she just handed me a new reciept and thats it. Wasn't busy at all very bad service and manners.
