The waiting times here are unacceptable. I've ben told there would be ?a five minute wait? on more than one occasion, but have been left waiting over half an hour with no updates, standing around in the hope the next prescription is mine. To make matters worse, on one occasion the prescription was already prepared and in storage (not being prepared as I was told), making the delay completely unnecessary. Clear communication and accurate times would solve this, but sadly that hasn?t been offered. There were similar concerns from otjer customers in the store. I?ll be moving to another pharmacy. Very disappointing from Boots.

The opening hours of this shop are a nightmare. It used to stay open at lunchtime except for its pharmacy services, but advertised its hours online as including lunchtime. Now they have decided to close altogether at lunchtime without changing their online hours. Add to that the fact that my online order was delivered late and I feel like I will never be able to pick it up.

On 2 occasions I have tried to get help at this pharmacy after checking advice online. The first time, I was asked to discuss a private issue in front of about 7 other people in the store without being offered a more private space. The second time, I checked the NHS website (which stated to first ask the pharmacist for support and over the counter medication) and I was rudely turned away and told to reach out to 111. The feeling I got was that they could not be bothered to even discuss the problem and their information was also just inaccurate. I don?t want to waste doctors and nurses time, but also feel like I?m completely wasting the pharmacists time? Both times I calmly tried to ask for help and was just following guidance. Very disappointed, I understand the stresses that can come with their position, however, there is also a better way to go about these things. Go to a different pharmacy if you can.

I called to ask if they could keep my online order for a bit longer as I didn?t have time to pick it up within 7 days and they told me they always keep the order for 2 weeks so nothing to worried about. Not even bother to make a note or anything. So I came in 10 days to pick it up only been told they?ve returned my order 2 days ago. If they are not sure about the policy they should at least have the decent look it up during the call. I had to cancel a booked movie to make to trip to boots and only come home with empty hands. Ridiculous!

The pharmacy staff are very kind, patient and helpful :-) I've been with them for over 2 years now and the staff consistently is kind and very understanding, which is great since I generally have a lot of anxiety around seeking healthcare.Sometimes the pharmacy can be quite busy so queueing can be long but they do their best to be quick without compromising on friendliness

Staffing issues constantly throughout the last 2 years. Had to request emergency prescriptions (2 week stop-gap) whilst they tried to find a regular 8 week usual repeat prescription. This is not the first time either, so whilst staff are nice they are consistently overwhelmed and overworked. Now doesn't even open Saturdays as so over-worked/understaffed standard weekend hours are impossible. Prior to the pandemic, we got texts and updates well in advance of running out and they provided a great service. Boots head office need to look at themselves and improve/get more pharmacists hired.

Frequently shut due to staffing issues, prescriptions often take a week or more to be filled. Expect to queue out the door.
