Very professional service. Best prescription I have had in more than 60 years of wearing spectacles. Also, the most expensive, but you get what you pay for. Honestly, makes you feel younger. I recommend it, but it isn't necessary for everyone. Is it value? - yes, if you need it. I am 75 and working on computer and instrument screens a lot, and for me, it has made a very worthwhile difference. Noticeable difference in driving as well. Pays off in safety and efficiency.

Very impressed with BirrellRainford. Had a visual stress eye test with Brenda Rainford and she was extremely knowledgeable, professional and provided us with lots of very useful advice. I felt confident that we were in very safe hands. The practice is a lovely boutique Opticians with a wide selection of glasses and frames to choose from and is in a very nice location. Professional service from start to finish. I would certainly recommend using BirrellRainford and we will definitely be returning to this practice in the future.

I always feel confident that I get the best optical assessment and advice from Brenda. I also appreciate the guidance on choosing glasses and making sure they are technically right for me from Jim, and now also from Dan. I leave with exactly the lenses that I actually need, never more.

Whilst business partner Jim Birrell was also very thorough and professional in his approach. Really happy with my new super-lightweight glasses. My eyesight is awful, so have always had thick lenses. These are amazingly light and don't press on sinuses. Incredibly professional service both from Brenda and on the technical side of ordering and fitting, from Jim, who recommended these lenses and frames.
