It's definitely not a place for someone who wants to get an access to the kitchen in order to cook themselves from a scratch.3 meals, cleaning chemicals and toileteries are provided for £130 per calendar month. No choice for vegeterian/vegan people really..Basically junk food, deep fried, overcooked plain pasta, plain rice, tinned microvaved carrots. Rent is paid by council but they get profits for service charge undoubtfuly... £130x28 rooms... a month. Staff are ok but working 12 hours shifts they get free meals and desserts, coffee, tea paid by residents...there's a feeling of staying in a psychiatric ward at times, no knives, sometimes prescribed medice allowed in the room. one wanting to peel a harder piece of fruit like mango, melon or sicing a tomato doesnt have an option...of course service charge does not include cleaning flats/rooms - I dont mind it though as if one is on benefit shouldnt have such high demands. when you start working as wiling to get back on track, they take at least 65 % of your wages plus compulsory service charge...personally I can cook for less than that nutritious meals from scratch considering my physical and mental conditions including oncological ailment..

Nice and caring people around here those fighting poverty. Very helpful with basic needs and food provided for you 3 times a day (God bless them). Good place for recovery when you on your own and end up being in critical situation...

Still a dump since my last visit.. Dodgy goings on that will be uncovered one day, but not by the care commission as they give them 2 weeks warning that they will be visiting so there's a show put on then. All I can say is eye's are on them and people are becoming more aware of the scam what's happening in there...
