Because the locked card has been communicating continuously, the online customer service asked me to check the ID offline and specifically indicated that it was this branch, but as soon as I arrived, I met an employee with short white hair who was particularly fierce, and shouted to me without listening to my explanation: We can't do anything here! I am an international student that arrived in Edinburgh on the 10th of September 2022. The next morning I directly opened up a Bank of Scotland account through the mobile app.The application itself has a decent UI which was easy to navigate. However, the security verification was the phase where things get a little bit complicated. In short, I had problem setting up my account due to the pin and security code got lost in the mail...Along my waiting time, I withdrew cash through BoS's branches and they were super helpful. There was a time where I only had BP50 and I was allowed to withdraw it. In the process of my tuition fee payment, BoS's staff were guiding and accompanying me throughout the process.Due to the high amount of payment, there were security measures being implemented and got sorted in the end of the day. It took me one and half hour for the process and personally, I had a pleasant experience. Thank you for your service.

Befor moving to moving to this bank my client was not given his his money ,kept denying that 140 was not them ,!!! They proved wrong, now again another client has same problem computHe can't even spell, and they says he did a transfer, all will be looked into be safe !!! Another is saying thanks for being a banks customer,Halifax, but that belongs to bank of Scotland, lots of separate privet accounts, from some one whom worked their told how they do it,

If I could give zero stars then I would!! The staff in here go out there way to make things awkward. If you dont have card, but do have passport and id etc they will only give you access to £50 from your own account - and listening to the dribble is soul destroying.

Opening a bank account here was a lovely experience. Watched a video, signed some forms and met with the bank manager. Everyone here is super smiley and friendly and that goes a very long way when you are new to the country.

Friendly and efficient service in this, my local bank. Sometimes, there are long queues which they don't always manage well, but I'm generally happy with the service in this branch. Opening hours are not as wide as I would like (for example, no Saturday opening). There is an ATM outside the branch for 24 hour access, and all the usual services inside. Keep up the good work.
