Had a little wander around Edinburgh last week and before heading home, we stopped by Bagel Factory to get some of their scrummy snacks ~? We had the Reuben Pastrami (Pastrami, Sauer Kraut, Emmenthal cheese, mustard) and Salt Beef Melt Bagel (Salt Beef, Emmenthal cheese, gherkins, mustard) paired with a decaf flat white.I've been craving for their bagels ever since I tried them a couple of months ago, luckily their store is accessible and located within the train station (Edinburgh Waverley), an ideal spot to pick up an on-the-go snack.As always, the flavour combos and texture of the bagels were on point and complimented the hearty fillings, such a satisfying afternoon treat - I couldn't recommend them enough!

I was waiting in the queue to order and seen the woman working there was making a peanut butter bagel and she?d accidentally wiped a dollop of peanut butter on her hand. But instead of washing it off she just wiped her hand on her apron and served the next customer! I have a peanut allergy and if i hadn?t seen that i would?ve ordered and potentially had an allergic reaction. Allergens are something you should be 100% clued up on when working around food but clearly she was not. I have warned others not to go there until this is addressed as I would hate for someone to get ill or potentially worse because of pure laziness.

For fast food it was fairly slow. Staff seemed inattentive and like they didn't want to be there. My partner is vegetarian and there was little care to change gloves or separate meat items.

The food was okay, which allows me to give it two stars. The staff were dreadful. Vegan cream cheese stack came with no cucumber or avocado ( had to ask them to put the avocado on and they had no cucumber. Handed over this meal before they realised there was another bagel on the order, a sausage bagel. Gloves weren't changed between vegan and non vegan bagels. Lacklustre attitude at best.

This used to be one of my treats when I was passing through Waverley. Was looking forward to a bagel and a coffee to sustain me on journey from Edinburgh. 3 staff on duty and no queue - all good so far. However, I have never come across staff with less interest in their potential customers. Rude beyond rude. I won?t be back.

Always good food, never had an issue there. But maybe tell your staff that sometimes letting a customer have a bag is okay. I didn't realise it was such a hassle to give one out.When asking "Could a have a bag please?" and the female server loudly stating "For that!?", while pointing at my bagel, I should have replied, "Actually no you're right. I'll carry these two large bags in one hand, the coffee you just gave me in the other, maybe balance the crisps on top, and the bagel can balance on my head. No worries!".But instead I had to highlight the items I had, and I received a bag. The look of utter inconvenience of having to reach just to the right to retrieve a bag was a nice touch.I'll happily pay for a bag. But if I need one, then I need one.

Only had a few minutes at the station and picked up a hot salt beef bagel. Absolutely amazing! Do not go anywhere else!
