“Great experience and great venue, however very badly signposted from the tram which they recommend as a transport link and site greatly underestimate the time to walk from there which could easily lead to people missing the start of performances and definitely added stress and impacted on the overall experience. Get the 100 bus!”

“We hadn't booked a table, however that wasn't an issue on the Wednesday we visited. While looking at the menu, we received some complimentary prawn crackers, such a lovely gesture ?. We both ordered the spring rolls, which came with a slightly spicy sauce and both were delicious. Our main courses of Beef with Green Pepper and Black Bean sauce and Szechuan Chicken arrived shortly afterwards, along with some egg fried rice and Noodles( both served in a wooden lidded bowl). Both dishes were amazing. We ordered a bottle of wine and and the waitress kept coming back and pouring it for us, again a lovely touch. Bill for 2 of us with the service charge came to around £50.00 and it was definitely value for money. At no time did we feel we were being rushed, we never felt they wanted us to leave, and when we did, they were really friendly and genuine, and we left feeling extremely valved. The best customer service we have experienced in a long time. Would 100% recommend ?”

“Unlike where I am from. If you are in the bank before closing, they just prevent new entries but finish up with those inside. I was surprised to find out they ask you to leave but politely. The good thing is that I was able to resolve my problems the next day.”

“I am an international student that arrived in Edinburgh on the 10th of September 2022. The next morning I directly opened up a Bank of Scotland account through the mobile app.The application itself has a decent UI which was easy to navigate. However, the security verification was the phase where things get a little bit complicated. In short, I had problem setting up my account due to the pin and security code got lost in the mail...Along my waiting time, I withdrew cash through BoS's branches and they were super helpful. There was a time where I only had BP50 and I was allowed to withdraw it. In the process of my tuition fee payment, BoS's staff were guiding and accompanying me throughout the process.Due to the high amount of payment, there were security measures being implemented and got sorted in the end of the day. It took me one and half hour for the process and personally, I had a pleasant experience. Thank you for your service.”

The employee came to me in just two minutes. I went to open an account, I was explained all the relevant details and also advised what would be best for me right now and in the future.”

“Called in, as I always do to refuel before a long drive north. My exhaust was giving me trouble and been unable to get any garage to tie it up with a metal strap to let me get on my essential journey north. On the forecourt was a man called Davie, wearing high-vis Shell gear. He offered to fill my car, but I'd already begun. He said he'd noticed my car was noisy. I told him the exhaust was hanging down and was hoping I'd get north 150 miles without it falling off. He very kindly said he'd have a quick look. So after fuelling, I took my car over to a quieter spot where Davie, got the jack out of my boot, jacked the car up and said he thought he could tie it up. After a bit of thought, Davie found a metal ring in his car that was big enough to loop round the offending pipe and tie off. Raising the exhaust back to it's original position. This took him no more than 10 minutes. I was delighted with the result and Davie was pleased he'd been able to effect a good repair. I set off and Davie stood listening to the now purring car and bade me farewell with a smile and a wave. Then I drove into a 2 hour traffic jam and my whole journey took 5 hours, tiring, but less noisy, thanks to Davie's deft repair. Thanks to Davie, I got home safely, with my car intact. It's booked in to have the new exhaust fitted this week. I have to say, he did this with a smile and a glad heart, despite wearing a bandage on his arm, supporting an injury of some kind, (I thought it rude to ask). Davie is a real asset to the staff at Crewe Toll filling station, and his cheerful, friendly welcoming disposition would put any frayed motorist at ease. I hope you enjoyed your pint Davie. Cheers! “Their 0800 number goes to an actual friendly human rather than an automated line. Identity check in branch was carried out easily and we had an excellent experience.”

“A handy petrol station for going towards the centre of the city and notably has a subway inside which I've bought fresh sandwiches on my way into work. Staff on the BP counter are usually cheerful and have a bit of banter when I've been in. The shop seems fairly well stocked for bits and bobs that might be forgotten or needed picked up on the way home.”

“This is one of my favourite stores, I always enjoyed a late night groceries.
It's a one stop shop, everything you need under one roof, starting from clothing, toys, vegetables, fruits and so on. Prices are fair enough, and if you have the Asda card you could enjoy a good discount too.
A fuel pump is around the corner too, with one of the best prices around.
All of all, such a lovely place.”
