Staff disinterested and would rather you use the cash machine than talk to an actual person. Can queue for ages without so much as an acknowledgement from the person behind the desk. Looking elsewhere for a bank account in future

Very poor and disappointing. Actually went into the branch this morning armed a death certificate for my Father to close his account. Despite the entire branch being completely Empty, I had to try and make an appointment to close his account. Unable to get a suitable appointment, I was then told to go away and register it online, not even asking if I could or not. What is the point of a branch if you can't speak to someone in an empty branch? Why does nobody have a minute to deal with the public face to face instead of directing people to online. This is a difficult time as it is without this lack of consideration.

After 40 years with branch watching it go from a bank with tellers dealing with transactions to a drop in centre for wasting your time I?ve decided to open an account with other bank which hopefully still operates as such ,X

I wish i could give them 0 or minus but not an option given. Anyways ,been to the branch today to exchange some cash to pound coins and fivers for my business. I was number 3 in the queue . Infront of me was a lady who was depositing a lot of cash folded in envelops on behalf of her mother ,which was clearly gona take ample of time. My total time to exchange the cash with change was gona take less than 60sec. Lady infront of me even offered me to go first and advised the lady on the counter to serve me first,which she refused by saying its only going to take 5 minutes. I kept waiting patiently for 22 minutes as i was told to sit down and wait . Only 1 counter was active which is a normal practise at this branch ,there were total 5 more people in the branch inside the cabins literally doing nothing. Queue started building up behind me as well but still there was no response from the staff. Lady behind the counter was still counting the cash of a customer at the slowest possible speed ,making sure each note was counted few times physically and she had to count thosands of pounds yet, not by machine. I was working and came on a 5 minute break thinking to exchange cash with change utilising my break. However ,things were totally different here,as no body looked interested to serve customers ,rather they were just passing time doing nothing .After 22 minutes of never ending wait,i finally approached someone in the office to do something which she never took serious. She looked least interested in serving customers. This is not the first time it happened ,Hence i have launched an official complaint and i will be looking forward to any conclusion to that.Eventually i left as it appeared very unappologetic and unprofessional to me for such a big organisation.Really pathetic show today by tsb .I am sure banking sector makes enough money to keep all counters active or manage the staff well and educate them to approach and solve customers issues efficiently.Really disappointed by tsb eastkilbride branch.

Website stated bank was open on Good Friday but was closed. Surely an organisation such as a major bank can sort out their digital information.

I attended shop with business card that I?ve had multiple issues with and again the card was refused.Again had to go online and transfer money from business account to my personal account.Not acceptable at all !!!

Only one staff member on . Ridiculous amount of time wasted hanging about. In 20 min queue before another staff member asked if they could help
