“Has what you need and the staff are helpful. Much better than the other Aldi in East Kilbride. It's handy that they have the human till available as well as annoying self-checkouts.”

“This store is in EK Shopping Centre, NOT Glasgow. This is one of the larger stores and has more selection of goods and higher stock levels. Got everything I went in for at reasonable prices. I would have given it 5* if the checkout staff refrained from chatting so much, packing customers bags slowly, and got customers through the tills faster. There were long queues because of this. I forgot it was Tuesday - pensioners discount day,, which explains why it was so busy and it was lunchtime. I will try to shop there earlier on a Tuesday in future to avoid the queues. 5* for the checkout lady who noticed my bus pass in my wallet and reminded me of my discount. Note that checkout in this store is always slow!”

“Marks is not as busy as it used to be, but it's always a bit of an assault course with shelves being replenished. I appreciate that it is a necessary situation, but the amount that's brought from the back shop at the one time can make a smooth journey through the shop a bit difficult. The other gripe I have about Marks is the ambient temperature in the shop. Any time of year, wear thermals! I get warm walking out the door.”
“This store is super handy. There is free parking directly opposite the shop and you can invariably find a space. It's not a big footprint, but they manage to cram in most of the items you would find in a larger store. Having shopped in Iceland for the best part of 35 years, I can attest to the quality of the products. The prices are more than reasonable, however, like all shops, the costs have been creeping up. A feature of the times we live in - but I'm not going to get political in a review ? In short, if you are on a budget, like me, Iceland is an excellent way to have a good range of meals without breaking the bank. The site of the Greenhills store and the free parking is also advantageous. Finally, the staff are very friendly and efficient. The shop can be very busy, and if there is a long queue at the checkouts, they soon whisk you through - but always with a friendly word. Highly recommended ?”

“Lidl's Snaktastic lentil chips in salt and vinegar flavour promise a flavourful and high-quality snacking experience. While they certainly deliver on the crispiness front, they fall short in a couple of key areas.
These lentil chips are undeniably crispy, offering a satisfying crunch with every bite. This is a definite highlight for those who enjoy a good crunch in their snacks.
While the crispiness is a positive, it comes at the cost of moisture. The chips feel excessively dry, lacking a certain moistness that would elevate the snacking experience. They crumble nicely, but feel like they have lost all moisture during the cooking process, leaving a dry sensation in the mouth. This dryness detracts from the overall enjoyment.
The salt and vinegar flavour is intensely acidic, almost to the point of being painful on the throat. While some may enjoy a strong, tangy flavour, the acidity here feels unbalanced and overwhelming. It masks any other subtle flavours that might be present and leaves a lingering, unpleasant aftertaste. This level of acidity may not appeal to a broad range of consumers.
Snaktastic lentil chips offer a satisfying crunch, but the extreme dryness and overpowering acidity of the salt and vinegar flavour detract significantly from the overall experience. While the crispiness is commendable, the lack of moisture and the intensely acidic flavour profile make these chips a less than ideal choice. A more balanced flavour profile and a slightly less dry texture would greatly improve this product. As it stands, they are likely to only appeal to those who enjoy extremely strong, acidic flavours. For the average consumer, the overpowering vinegar and lack of moisture will likely be a turn-off.”

“Love this wee Marks and Spencers Foodhall. Great selection or fruit and vegetables plus everything you'd find in a mini supermarket. Prices are great for the quality. We went in to find pumpkins for Halloween but they sold out so we got a little light up one instead.”
“This co-op garage has alcohol ciggys. and an array of other products, ideal place to do washing, get petrol, grab some snacks, found staff to be generally polite and happy.”

“As always I am always able to get what I went for, staff are always friendly and chatty at tills, havent really ever had to wait too long in cue to be served either, only downside is it is a bit more expensive to shop here than it would somewhere like morrisons or iceland but it's open to 11pm which is really handy if you forget something for kids packed lunch or their bottles water”
“I've been shopping here for a while now. My only disappointment is the women's toilets. Everytime I'm in need to go these toilets are smelly and they really need money spent on them.
It's a shame they closed the cafe, it would be great if a Costa opened upstairs. The store has a great selection of foods and the clothing range is great. The staff have always been helpful when I've asked a question etc...”

“I was in store for Saturday night pizzas. I had to use the toilets, first time in this store. What a absolute delight, they were clean, fresh and bright. The best morrisons toilets I've ever used. Hats of to the cleaners and morrisons for this fantastic service. The colleague who served me on the pizza counter was very helpful.”

“I went down tonight to collect some bits and bobs. I needed something from the bottom shelf and due to me having limb girdle muscular dystrophy I have alot of pains in my back and knees and feared I wouldn't be able to get back up! I asked a staff member for assistance, her name was Chloe. She was busy stacking some shelves. She made me feel so comfortable and welcome. I didn't feel like a burden or a hassle. So thank you Chloe! And thanks co op for being disability friendly! Made my experience so pleasant and easy, it's the little things!”

“Gary at the self scan checkouts on 21st June was so helpful in helping an elderly customer through the self scan. He helped her throughout.
He pretty much did the entire thing himself all the whilst apologising if he had to nip away to help another customer quickly. He then called a taxi for the customer, even asking if Kelvin Cabs was OK for the customer.
Such a lovely guy, I've been served by Gary in the past and he's always so nice.
What a lovely thing to see tonight, well done Gary”

“Pleasant shopping experience, only issues is with the till queues ,they open another till usually at the opposite end and then everyone at that end gets served straight away so the queue you are in stay the same length but people who have not waited yet are getting served before you.To make it fairer why not open the till next to the one that is already open .Very frustrating”
