I usually go toAldi but was im the area and tried lidl. It was ok for basic items but you couldn't move much because of those pull along baskets and if using the self service you need your receipt for the barrier to let you out - wont be going back.

I have been using this supermarket for more than 15 years, but after the employee?s treatment of me today, I will never return to this store again because she treated me badly.
I just wanted to make it clear that I have returned all the items .

Very good shop, in a busy area with lots of development going on. We use it often...good prices too.

Lidl's Snaktastic lentil chips in salt and vinegar flavour promise a flavourful and high-quality snacking experience. While they certainly deliver on the crispiness front, they fall short in a couple of key areas.
These lentil chips are undeniably crispy, offering a satisfying crunch with every bite. This is a definite highlight for those who enjoy a good crunch in their snacks.
While the crispiness is a positive, it comes at the cost of moisture. The chips feel excessively dry, lacking a certain moistness that would elevate the snacking experience. They crumble nicely, but feel like they have lost all moisture during the cooking process, leaving a dry sensation in the mouth. This dryness detracts from the overall enjoyment.
The salt and vinegar flavour is intensely acidic, almost to the point of being painful on the throat. While some may enjoy a strong, tangy flavour, the acidity here feels unbalanced and overwhelming. It masks any other subtle flavours that might be present and leaves a lingering, unpleasant aftertaste. This level of acidity may not appeal to a broad range of consumers.
Snaktastic lentil chips offer a satisfying crunch, but the extreme dryness and overpowering acidity of the salt and vinegar flavour detract significantly from the overall experience. While the crispiness is commendable, the lack of moisture and the intensely acidic flavour profile make these chips a less than ideal choice. A more balanced flavour profile and a slightly less dry texture would greatly improve this product. As it stands, they are likely to only appeal to those who enjoy extremely strong, acidic flavours. For the average consumer, the overpowering vinegar and lack of moisture will likely be a turn-off.

Just moved into the area and this is the closet grocery store. Not sure about Lidl own brand foods yet.
