My friend and I visit this cafe often. Although a bit on the pricy side, always appreciated the nice service and ?normally? very friendly staff. Not this time, my friend ordered a scone after our lunch, so I asked for a little extra hot water to be added to our pot of tea. Was told in a very flippant and offensive manner, that normally I should pay for this, but I?ll be let off this time. What a way to treat seniors, to be made feel like a cheater. Not happy.

Used this place the other day £7.20 for a cappuccino and roll and sausage which is a huge hike from their previous prices over £4.00 for the roll i realise costs have increased but this is a lot

Decided to visit for a late lunch having not been here in many years.
The overall experience was average, but the pricing is high for what you get. £7.95 for a small-ish Panini or baguette with a small side salad. I appreciate the cost of living has increased a lot in recent years, but at that price there is no value.
Certainly won?t be rushing back anytime soon.

The food here is all made to order. Their soups are always amazing. Good quality ingredients and the staff are lovely. Very friendly, and nothing is a bother. They cater for most tastes. Our go to place when in East Kilbride.

By rating 3 stars I'm not saying this place was bad - just that it wasn't anything special (compared to other places I have visited).The soup one of us had was pretty good and maybe even warranted 4 stars. The scones were ok (definitely not bad) although heated up it seems in the microwave, as they were soft.Staff were 'ok'. Not rude in any way, but not especially warm or friendly. Prices seemed a bit on the high side (7 or 8 quid for a sandwich or filled baked potato, 3 quid for a scone with jam).Not bad, but not brilliant.
