Bought my fireplace at Ambience Fireplaces East Kilbride and found the owner very knowledgeable about not only all the different types of fires but obviously he had a wealth of knowledge about all the different builders in the area and how well the fires would fit their particular homes. The company expertly removed my old fire surround and boarded up the enclosure. All I had to do was to get a plasterer to smooth the wall, then paint. Two weeks later they returned on schedule to fit the fire. All work was carried out with no problems whatsoever and I can thoroughly recommend the company. The owner was very attentive when I experienced a problem with the remote, he ordered a new one direct from the manufacturers and kept phoning to see if it had arrived.

Went to Ambience Fireplaces just for a look as intended to buy a fire on line. However after a few visits I bought an electric inset fire. This was to replace a gas fire. The fire is beautiful and the flame effect is very realistic. Well worth the money.I was worried about the wires showing as it was not possible to put a new socket in due to wooden flooring etc. I need not have worried as the 2 gentleman who came to fit it were brilliant. They managed to drill through the chimney to feed the cable through the bottom of my skirting which they took off and refitted. and the cable is neatly hidden out of sight.No pressure sales either. I have recommended Ambience to my friends.

Absolutely love my new fireplace. The staff were lovely and very efficient. Came and took my old fireplace out to allow the plasterer to do his role and came back to fit new one at a date when we were ready.
