Purchase of a Grand California went smoothly - and there it ended. The collection was hurried, no habitation check carried out, van not fuelled, adblue light on, not valeted inside . A number of faults were identified - it took dozens of emails and phone calls to have these addressed during which a catalogue of excuses were given. Even the Director assured me he would update me in person within a few days - he never did.The worst VW customer service in over 30 years which could have easily been avoided if the correct quality assurance and basic checks were carried out prior to collection.

My second time dealing with Gary in sales, a straightforward man to do business with in my experience, gets back to you quickly with information, trade-in prices and finance options. Would use again as not in any way giving cheesy sales pitch, just facts and options for you to decide.

VW Transporter T6.1. Great service with knowledgable mechanics! After having an annoying noise from my van engine VW to explain and book the van in. To my surprise I think i got a mechanic on the phone who asked me to explain the exact noise and went into some detail to understand the problem clearly knowing his stuff. I booked the van in but needed to take it 3 days on a Saturday morning. This was no problem at all and on arrival there was clearly some work going on in the entrance. A member of staff greeted me, ensured my keys were stored and also supplied my with some details to send a video of my concern. It was clear he was under pressure but he acted very professionally and ensured I was happy on leaving the dealership. On collection I needed to leave the van for 4 further days due to snow and the dealership allowed that no issue. The work was complete, the van had been looked after and was kept secure. I know main dealers sometimes get bad press but i can honestly say that (price dependant) I would certainly recommend this dealership and the service from the staff was excellent. The only downside is that on the last visit the coffee was terrible with no milk but not enough to mark them down.

I?ve always been wary of these guys since they lost my keys. They make up their own prices, despite VW?s national fixed price promise. The ?Aberdeen effect?.. Today they were also unclear about dubious work required for a mot pass. I?m not impressed and won?t be back. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Reserved a van on the 5th of April which was still then able to be sold despite my reservation. Was told by salesperson Gary the sale wasn't even confirmed yet (the buyer was waiting to see if they'd got finance) and that he'd sort my refund. Still waiting.Edit: Thanks for your response Julie, I'll take great solace in the fact that you are passing that on to the team as we reach week 3 of you holding onto my £99. Absolute cowboys.

Don't leave a deposit. I reserved a van which they sold regardless and I am now on day 20 of waiting for Gary to return my 'fully refundable deposit'.

Van went for service, then I been told brake pads have to be replaced. It's 4 weeks now and van isn't fixed due to lack of stock. Can get delivery from China much quicker.

Avoid if possible bought a vehicle from them less than a day later had to go back as engine management light came on was told its ok to drive but on leaving garage it turned red so they took it back to fix 3weeks later told a ford mechanic would be needed and couldn't say when that would be.Customer service is very poor neve get information from them and I had to do all the chasing eventually got van back with problem solved they told me only for same thing to happen next day so back with van again and told them I reject this vehicle was asked if I would allow them to source another vehical which I agreed to do but stated I would not be paying more for it but after a week I was told that the 2 vehicles that they could offer where in the showroom all the time but it would be a extra monthly payments so I had to walk away and still did not get a apology from anybody

Had an amazing experience with Clark?s commercials from start to finish %100 needed a radio code, got there and was back on my way within 30 minutesTop class service from Chris and lads on the day?I?m not local (South Wales) so can?t recommend to friends but would absolutely recommend to anyone who is local?Cheers again lads?

Every experience is obviously individual. But regardless of some previous negative reviews, I can find zero fault in my whole experience with Clark Commercials. A perfect experience.They dug me out of a hole when I was at the mercy of whoever would listen. My van developed a gearbox issue on my way to some holiday plans. They took me in when they didn?t really have to, and had an already full book. They did a full complimentary health check and even found an issue with one of the brakes that my recent mot garage had failed to notice. I was back on the road on schedule and can honestly say the gear change now feels like it did when she was new.Thank you to the Clark Commercials team for saving my holiday plans.
