Absolutely amazing coffee shop! Cocoa Mountain is a hidden gem ? super cozy, incredibly welcoming, and best of all, dog friendly! Our pup was treated like a VIP, which made the experience even better.
The real highlight? The hot chocolate. Easily the best I?ve ever had ? rich, smooth, and packed with flavour. You can tell they put real care into what they serve. Opt for the chocolate chaser and you can also try four delightful bespoke chocolates to share.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect stop whether you?re a local or just passing through. Highly recommend for chocolate lovers and dog owners alike!

Unfortunately tried the hot chocolate here today after travelling 1.5hrs for it as theres so much hype. And it was absolutely vile, as was my husbands. Had no taste of chocolate, extremely bland and what a waste of money. Paid £16 for two basic ones and a crossiant. They were closed by the time I turned the car back round but I dropped it back off at the door two sips was enough for me.
And I did ring up to tell them as well and asked if it had been done perhaps wrong etc. Just told sorry about that.
£16 down the drain. If I could give zero stars I would.

Great hot chocolate and mocha available. Great seating outside during the summer. Chocolate snacks and desserts available as well. Great amount of seating available. Would definitely be back for the hot chocolate if ever back for the NC500 drive.

I visited cocoa mountain 5 years again whilst cycling the NC500. Having been cycling in the rain all day this was the best hot chocolate I've ever had.
I went back today after walking the Cape wrath trail and again the hot chocolate was incredible. Also they are very dog friendly and even gave my dog a treat.
I can't wait to come back after the next adventure.

Really tasty hot chocolate, but wouldn't say it's 'the best'. Expensive at £4.95 for a regular but better value if you want to buy chocolates too as the same with 4 chocolates is £7.45. It's a shame we were given a takeaway cup to drink in (if we had known we'd have brought our own) and service could be friendlier.
