“I've heard it said that the staff in this Post Office are unfriendly or even hostile, but in my experience I think they just need a while to warm up. I'll admit, when I first moved to the area I found some of the ladies to be a little curt, but after twice weekly visits for the past eight years I now find them to be decidedly civil and I'm sure that in another ten years or so they'll greet me with warm smiles. Okay, so most will never experience that tingly feeling when they go to the post office, but the staff usually only bite after ample provocation and when a customer arrives with bags filled with dozens of packages and parcels, usually me, I've found that their contempt is heavily veiled. All jokes aside, the ladies in the post office are professionals, they seldom make mistakes and they get the job done in a timely manner. If you want to make friends, join a social club. If you want to post a letter or avail yourself of any of the other services the post office has to offer, this is the place to go.”
