Greeted by a nice warm smile, the host instantly identified we were strangers in town and guided us in their ordering process.
Soup n a sandwich. Burger and some buns. Obligatory pot of tea and can we just say how lovely it was.
Definitely a spot to stop for light refreshments.

The service when ordering is very strange. Instead of taking the whole order the server keeps running away after each item is ordered. This doesn't really leave any chance to ask for extra as for example different milk if needed for dietary requirements.
The food was ok and the rest of the service was quick.
The atmosphere is a bit like a school cafeteria.

A fantastic bakers with a take away and sit in area. There is a broad range of food, drinksand baked goods. The staff are all lovely. We've become regulars since moving to the area recently. Highly recommend!

Pity there isn't a better choice of artisan breads - only ordinary rolls left at 12.45 on a weekday which was disappointing. Nowhere in Dunoon bar the supermarkets can you get different types crusty rolls, sourdough, fresh crusty baguettes, granary / multigrain loaves and rolls.
