We stopped in Dunkeld on our way along the A9 as we were traveling with our 3 week old daughter. Walking along the high street we went in here as it looked welcoming and the staff were fantastic. They offered to move chairs to accommodate us and our pram straight away, and were really supportive as our baby fussed. My wife felt comfortable to breastfeed for the first time in public, helped by the atmosphere of the friendly staff.Food was great and came quickly, portions were generous. Toilets were accessible and had space to change. We would definitely come again as it's a delightful spot on our route.Kid-friendliness: Nappy changing space in toilets

'Crusty bread' turned out to be 2 soggy, tasteless halves of sliced bread to accompany a very small bowl of undercooked lentil soup. £6+.

Lovely wee cafe. Staff are so kind and friendly. My sister was allergic to seeded bread (it stated it was seeded on the menu) but she never noticed. The guy happily swapped it for us no bother at all?? and made it a very pleasant experience and joked that he would have it for his lunch later on.

Cracking wee cafe, ideal to top up caffeine levels prior tackling the A9 up to Inverness. Quick efficient service, fine aftertaste to the espresso, looking forward to it lingering on as I head north. Va Bene.

Amazing baked potato and the best apple & toffee scone ever - freshly baked that morning. Florin and the girls were very attentive and kind. Lovely place for a spot of lunch. Would highly recommend and definitely be back soon.

2 sandwiches, 2 cans of drink and 2 cookies cost a princely sum of £27! After going on our walk in the hills we were shocked to find that the two cookies were missing.

This was the perfect place for a pitstop! Service is friendly, The room is very cozy, but most important food and coffee was just great! Whatever you do, don?t miss the shortbread! Self-made and delicious. If i am again in the area, I will definitely visit this place again!

We come to this cafe every time we visit Dunkeld, approx twice each year. Never disappointed. Beautiful scones and a fab range of jams and chutneys.

Called in for tea and scones, only to encounter one staff member, taking our order, with a couldn?t care less attitude and, frankly, needs to appreciate that the money of non-residents of Dunkeld is just as good as anyone else?s. The scones were super-fresh and delicious but the bill for a couple of hot drinks and scones came to over £14, which does seem like someone is having a laugh. Even House of Bruar up the road charges a more reasonable sub-£10 for the same food and drink.

I visit here often as people I go out for cups of tea with people who like the rock buns, scones etc. However, EVERY time the service let's this place down. There are a couple of welcoming, friendly staff but some really need to be politer and maybe crack a wee smile.
