My local friendly pharmacy. They have helped me so many times, no matter the ailment, they will have an advice. I'm really surprised to see so many people having an opposite experience.

A lot of people on here wining about prescriptions not ready on time but fail to understand that there is a turn around time from surgery to dispensing. I?ve been using this pharmacy for donkeys years and they are always professional, friendly and get my meds when needed
Well done

Received a text today to tell me part of my repeat prescription was ready to collect. Both meds are to correct high blood pressure and to help with Atrial Fibrillation. Prescription was a few days late from my surgery. I went to collect them and the Well Pharmacy told me they couldn't release the pills because the Pharmacist had to leave on urgent business. The pills were sitting in a bag ready to go. I had to convince the apologetic person behind the counter that she should simply leave the pills on the shelf and return the prescription to me so that I could try elsewhere. Such a shame that this employee was left to deal with 'all comers' in this way. Shame on you WELL Pharmacy for treating your young staff in this way. Frankly it's not my job to find solutions to your inadequacies. I need to find a Pharmacy I can trust. What a shambles.

Very unprofessional service, I feel they think anyone that collects a painkiller or prescription isn?t a normal trust worth citizen. Iv watched them talk about patients who may I add everyday say the doctors not sent them through. It?s not they just have too much work they most probably can?t handle atm that it?s passing the buck but costing us tax payer money. They don?t answer call, they blame the reciptonst at the doctors if they are behind on someone?s prescrition or they pretend they havnt got it. It?s wasting a lot of people time and money. They are very unprofessional and can tell maybe not as component as they like to be. I?d understand the lack of communication if they were a mile away but they are joined to surgery. Anyway I feel maybe an inspection. As it?s fowl play and not fit for practise.

Terrible attitude of staff. No empathy for sick people. Drs rushed through a prescription for urgent medication after surgery. I?m on the delivery list but can?t be delivered for5 days. ImNo offer to see if anything can be done and totally void of empathy. Not the first time I?ve been upset by their attitude.

Have no issue with pharmacy at all, I will even say great staff, been there hundreds times as my son have diabetes. Last Friday was running late after work and get there two minutes before closing 17:58 they doesn?t shut earlier and definitely doesn?t let me feel guilty for run in last minute :)

Went into the chemist today to collect my prescription. Was told it wasn?t done yet and I was asked would you like it today. When I said yes please was told well we can?t do it today and asked do you want to take it elsewhere which I did. When you go in the staff ignore you and carry on doing what they are doing until they are ready to help you and not a word spoken. I went to the doctors surgery and have changed to willow pharmacy. What a difference. Pleasant greeting, the staff can?t do enough to help and the service is extremely fast and efficient.

It?s time Well pharmacy bosses looked at the service of the very inefficient and unhelpful rude start in their branch at Elliot street Dunfermline. I like many others won?t be using this chemist again and have asked my doctors surgery to send future prescriptions to willow pharmacy who offer a first class service. Worlds apart. You actually get spoken to when you enter the premises instead of being ignored. Obviously it?s too much to ask the staff in well pharmacy to do their job. God forbid

This is officially the worst Pharmacy in Scotland. Use to be good and efficient when David ran it a few years back but has now sadly gone down hill. Many issues over the years, one of which was very concerning and reported to Well who did nothing as far as im aware. Most drugs are ?double checked ? and signed off, more so when its a controlled drug such as Tramadol. On one occasion a temporary Pharmacist managed to dispense my highly controlled prescription with 6 tablets missing, very conveniently they just happened to be on the counter when challenged about it.Today was the final straw. The attitude of the staff is horrendous and about as helpful as a chocolate fire guard. Trying to call them to find out if my prescription was ready, as usual there was no answer. On making my weekly visit to that area of town i went in to ask if it was ready,to be told i would receive a text. At this point the pharmacist confirmed it was made up, it just needed checking and this woukd take half an hour (great easy work if you can get it i feel). Obviously i was less than impressed and asked for my prescription back and I would get it elsewhere. I was informed that was not possible and i left the place. No sooner had i walked to the Doctors surgery next door and told them to stop sending my prescriptions there in future, then walked to the car to receive a text message. About 150 seconds since I originally left the pharmacy, my ?half hour wait? for my prescription magically turned into teo and a half minutes.I have not the will or mental strength to deal with these people anymore so im out. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
