Better service than anywhere else. The blonde lassie that mans the counter on Saturdays is elite-level, friendly and a joy to visit. The regular pharmacists are really helpful, too.

By far the best breakfast in Dunfermline! Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Food was piping hot and quick service as well. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you from the bottom of both our bellies ?

Since moving back to Dunfermline after 40+ years I was pining for a good pint of cask ale. The Commercial exceeded my expectations. Fantastic hand pulled ale and great food at reasonable prices.

Awful. As a CAMRA member I am amazed/embarrassed/ashamed that this place won Pub Of The Year for the whole of Scotland. The beer is overpriced and dreadful. Very, very poor pub.

By far Dunfermlines best boozer. A great selection of cask ales, shortlisted for UK Camra pub of the year. My only gripe was the lack of Scottish Cider,either cask or bottled. Was hoping to find Thistly Cross cider, which i only found on the M6 services back in England ! Perhaps not the pubs fault as supply of everything has been patchy recently. A must visit for ale fanatics.

Was there a couple of days ago, had the steak pie which was OK only, the veg was obviously heated up from frozen. Acceptable, but a wetherspoons experience which would have been half the price a few metres away. Had also heard great things about real ales, schiehallion was good, but not the wide varied selection I had expected.

A bus trip to Dunfermline and my wife suggested we go into this establishment for lunch as she has been there a few times previous with her Auntie on daytrips. Walked in and straight away liked the pub, nicely laid out, nice decor, lots of happy folk and very nice staff. Took a seat at the table and a chap came over to take our drinks order while we perused the menu. My apologies, I forgot to ask your name. My wife chose Haddock and chips and I decided on the Steak Burger with chips and salad. Had a bowl of freshly made Onion rings in batter, best we've had in ages. Our plates duly arrived and, no word of a lie, WOW. Very nicely presented, the burger in brioche bun looked the Bees, salad was fresh with a very nice dressing and the chips were chips not the thin fries you get elsewhere. My wife's Haddock actually was a large Haddock in breadcrumbs, not the thin slice of fish in batter that chippies tend to serve you these days, very impressed, salad and chips as per my plate. Obviously we enjoyed our meals and the next time we take a trip to Dunfermline we know where we'll be having lunch. All in all very impressed. Well done all the staff and thank you.

We went for a bar lunch yesterday, It?s about 4/5 times now we have eaten there and I must say the best place for food in Dunfermline by far!! Service friendly and efficient Bar spotless Thanks to all the staff

Lunch and beers with a friend. The real ale was perfect. They have a great selection and we tried them all almost. The food was personally served by the chef and was piping hot and excellent.We had a great day thank you so much. I can?t wait to go again.

Our favourite pub in town. Several rotating real ales in excellent condition. This evening they had Schiehallion and Jarl plus 4 others. The food is excellent pub food delivered promptly and the bar staff are friendly. Tables well spaced.
