Went in to the shop to get a spar key and programmed to my car. Stuart was amazing from start to finish, booked in and came to the shop. Left my car and key and went off for a coffee, got a call back to say unfortunately there was an issue with this type of Mazda and it may be the we need to go the official route. But if ok he has a colleague that may be able to assist. Came back the next day and left my car and key and he was able to resolve for me. The whole time he was completely upfront with me and couldn?t be more helpful. I would definitely recommend him and Timpsn

Stuart has provided impeccable service sorting out my new car key. I had to pop in a few times as the key wasn?t connecting to my car but each time he has keep me in the loop what is happening, been really friendly and helpful in my options too. Fantastic customer service and I would highly recommend.

Went in today, bought some shoe polish but just happened to mention my partner?s faulty Toyota key-fob on the way out. He took it a part and discovered our replacement battery was the fault. £20 for a new battery may be a bit steep, but it was worth his time and customer service. Saved us getting an auto electrician in as we thought the fob was knackered.

Popped in to get a new battery for my husbands watch. I can never speak highly enough about Stuart. Always a great chat whilst he completes the task with a smile.
He is always focused on providing the best service. I've visited this store for many years. Always perfect fix whether keys or shoes. I was given a certificate to guarantee replacement battery for life for the watch. Fantastic service.
Stuart is an incredible asset to Timpson and more importantly Dunfermline.

Walked in with my boots in a bad way needing a lot of TLC as they are so comfy and could not find another pair like them .Guy did an Amazing job soled heeled and sewn buckle back on its the best £33 i have spent .I like the service in this shop no matter what you take in the amount of workmanship is fantastic.And the man is always very friendly and helpful

Took my son to get his new watch altered and after the shop keeper heard that he bought the watch to impress his girlfriend, the guy did not charge him.

Popped in to get extra holes punched in a pair of sandals - done with a smile and at no cost (with option to leave something in charity box). Like I was as a child, children were fascinated by the array of keys and machinery and each got some keys to play with. Have always had great service here for keys and heels/soles.

I have used this shop several times. Always happy to go back. Stuart it so friendly and helpful. Prices are good. Trying to replace watch battery but it was the watch not working. No charge.

I called to find out if Timpsons could punch holes into leather shoes for me. The phone was answered quickly and politely by a human being, which is a refreshing change.
I was reassured that they can do this. I turned up later that day and Stuart did the job as I waited and we chatted about Birkenstocks.
A few minutes later I had 4 new punch holes for buckle straps and there was no charge for his time!
Brilliant Timpson service from Stuart.

The proprietor, Stuart is so pleasant and accommodating. He goes out of his way to ensure the customer get's what they want.I needed engraving done but the trophy plates he held were either too large or too small. He went out of his way and cut a plate to size. All completed in 30 mins.I would suggest that Timpson send the proprietors of their shops in York to visit Stuart to learn customer care and how to do their jobs. Whenever I have been to the shops in York everything is far too difficult for them and told to come back the following day to collect engraving, even when the shops are empty and staff are just standing about doing nothing.If I could give 10 stars Stuart would have received them from me.Keep up the good work and I will definately be back. You are an absolute gem of a gent.
