Had seen people praise good food so decided to try wife had small macaroni and chips macaroni was look warm underneath in dish I got steak pie and chips the steak pie was in separate dish.so tipped steak pie on to plate there was like green paper came out with it so I took to the waitress she said it looked like a napkin so she said would get me another steak pie then somebody else came to table and apologise that it was napkin put in so steak pie would not move about I take he was the manager I thought might have got something off Bill but was charged full price won't be back

Nice little pub. Food was good and so was the cider. If you?re in the area stop in for a nice Scottish vibe and some yum food.

Staff were great. Food was poor and over priced. Chicken burger looked and tasted over cooked. Beef burger was smaller than a saver menu at McDonald's. The chicken fajitas were okay. The steak pie was the only good part.

I have ate here on several occasions the food is OK, I wouldn't go out my way to eat here especially with the other options locally. The food and drink is overpriced and the some of the staff could do with some customer service training. This does not apply to all the staff there is a few really nice staff members that the rest could take heed of.

Have been several times and always good, this time got the scampi as we have had it before and it was always tasty, but they must have changed their supplier as it tasted nothing like scampi not even fishy it was not nice. The staff were lovely and We couldn't fault them, but heard a few people saying the menu had been changed, don't know if it's for the better.

Got seated in an area that was not set up due to a private booking (which seemed to take priority) cramped seating and dirty tables all around. We had no communication on whether we order at the bar or if it was table service, we then went to the bar to order only to be told it was table service. It had been 15 minutes since being sat.
Starters came out and honestly were lovely, however the mains were disappointing for the price. Both were dry and not much taste apart from the taste of the burnt garlic bread and chicken.
No check back was given to us or the surrounding tables. When went to pay the bill and asked if we would like to leave a tip, the girl did not look impressed when we said no.
As managers of a restaurant we always ensure to tip however we would not expect to be given a tip had we offered this service to guests.
After wanting to come and try the restaurant for a while we were disappointed and feel that the restaurant has far much more to offer.

Reasonably priced pub grub. Friday and Saturdays have a quiz night and karaoke which is always lots of fun. A great night.

Went for a birthday meal today and my expectations were BLOWN OUT THE WATERS!! Lovely waitress Becky is top tier and a credit to the Lizzie. Food was stunning - recommend 10/10

Absolute joke 45 minutes waiting for food and wasnt busy either was told still not ready walked out in disgust I no the couple next to us had waited ages as they said they thought they had been forgotten about 1st time trying never got food and definatly won't be back!
