Poor and sloppy service.1. Coffee was cold by the time my meal arrived.2. My dad ordered an egg and mayo sandwich but received an egg sandwich without any mayo.3. When the waiter collected our cups and plates, he attempted to carry too much and spilt milk over my partner and also left milk on the floor without cleaning it up and putting up a "wet floor" sign.

I ordered fruit meringue for £3.99 I got 2 little meringue with a small amount of cream an half a strawberry. Won't be ordering again if I go back ? ?

Food came minus the additional items what we had ordered. The food was dry clearly been left under a heat light for far far to long . This has been the second time the food has been very poor. Will not be back.

Restaurant has long queues for coffees as always busy. Tables aren't cleared quickly enough and need to sometimes do it yourself and get wet paper towel to wipe it. Seating pads are badly marked and stained and in need of refresh. Could be a much more pleasant experience if these points were addressed.

Always friendly staff. Easy to access and park and to get around.Broad selection of products and plants and the restaurant is a real treat.

The toilets are disgusting and in stark contrast to the clean, tidy retail store. Many toilet cubicles were out of order, forced to use one where the lights were intermittent, horrible marks down the wall. If these are the public facing toilets- you can only imagine the cleanliness of the kitchen. ???

Went to Dobbies Dunfermline at 2.30 pm today to enjoy 2 for 1 cream scones available from 2 pm and was told there were none left! Seems a bit off being sold out half hour later. Perhaps bake more scones since it was an offer! That?s why I have given only 3 stars.

Great place for buying plants and staff will even help plant them for you, they also welcome well behaved dogs too ?Revamped cafe is large and airy but there was a massive queue

My friend and I visit Dobbies Dunfermline monthly and on our last three visits we have found that the fruit scones have been so undercooked that they crumble and fall apart as soon as we cut them. Today we complained to a very nice member of staff. She replaced the scones but the replacements also fell apart as soon as we cut into them. Please sort this problem for us, Dobbies.

Store is good, restaurant not so, food was mediocre at best. Seats n floor were dirty. Has definately gone down in my estimation. Baked potato beans n cheese I think had been sitting from 3 days ago. Disappointed

3 of us went for Lunch and it was terrible,we all had a toasted sandwich with salad and chips.The sandwich was soggy the salad was a pile of different lettuce on the plate with no dressing it was tasteless and the chips were luke warm.On complaining to the waitress she just shrugged her shoulders and took our plates away a really bad experience and never again.
