Nice place and staff, but the food is very poor. The menu is very limited, and you?d expect fresh fish in a bistro restaurant (£17)? but it was frozen, mushy?. Pretty rank. A few disappointed people in our party. Not the Keavil of old?

Health club is a complete joke been a member 20 years all staff have left or leaving classes canceled with no consultation ,emails sent to hotel management ( Jason ) not one reply no wonder the place is going down hill .Avoid

Nice front lady but so disappointed by the room, especially for 220.- a night..
small room, quite a dirty bathroom, tv and floors.
got woken up all night because the room door moves each time someone closes their own. We tried to put something against it but no success.
Do not stay here if you are looking for a quiet night and clean especially for this price..

I went with friends and family my sons 6th birthday It was great experience very helpful staff ,good breakfast very clean and spa was excellent,

A beautiful country feel to this hotel. We had stayed for a wedding, along with most or the guest? the rooms were lovely and big. Reception staff were great, we couldn't book in early as there was so many people arriving and heading to the wedding. I was able to put my case behind the Reception and check in very easily on our way back and after all the ques ? beautiful grounds with lovely walks. Lovely bar and restaurant area. Plenty of choice for the buffet breakfast and their coffee was ? couldn't fault it. Lovely overnight stay.

Was in room 47 and no WiFi signal or phone signal. Very disappointing.
Dog tolerant rather than dog friendly. No dog bowls, poo bags or towels for what was supposed to be a dog friendly room. Not sure what the additional charge for having a dog was for. Lack of bins to dispose poo bags. Got home to discover that I had forgotten to lift my dogs water bowl as normally hotels provided them.
All little things that are easily fixed and should be a given.
Food was very good
Nice buffet breakfast with plenty of choice.
Would go back if they got these minor issues resolved.

Staff was extremely friendly, but seemed to be overwhelmed! Appeared hotel was short on staff, as line for a drink was 10+ minutes! Those working did their best!

Staff were friendly and welcoming, everything else with the stay also absolutely fine. Unfortunately the pool was under ?maintenance? during our stay which was disappointing as it?s the only reason we booked there!

A lovely break and location is so convenient for sightseeing in Fife, coastal villages and towns as well as Edinburgh and surrounding area. Comfortable garden room, great breakfast, evening meal fairly standard (nothing fancy) but tasty. Unfortunately the leisure facilities (pool etc) was closed during our stay for their annual maintenance - such a pity since it had been a highlight during our previous stay.

The hotel caters to a lot of businesses people on trips. So, as a solo woman, it's not good for me, which was a shame.

Came for afternoon tea with my Dad and the service was amazing. Very attentive and lovely food. We used the spa facilities and had massages which were very relaxing. Will definitely be back.

Hotel was lovely, staff were really attentive, spa and restaurant were great. Rooms need an uplift and new mattresses as really uncomfortable. Only let down of the hotel.
