Best garage I've ever had dealings with.Owner is a really good mechanic who goes above and beyond for his customers and takes the time to explain things in simple terms that even I can understand, showing the workings / work being done which always interests me as I know next to nothing about how cars work.My cars wont be going anywhere else from now on.

In the last year I've used VC motors for new tyres (via Black Circles), an MOT, and their bodyshop to touch up a scratch (at a fraction of the quote from the nearest dealer approved place who wanted to take off the bumper meaning messing about with sensors - instead this was done in a day and ready the next morning freshly washed). I've very happy and would use them again.

Having used VC motors as my primary garage for over 5 years, I can say my experience has always been very good. Ron was always very meticulous about getting details right and in the same way, the new proprietor, Dougie, strives to achieve the same level of professionalism. I have no complaints with this garage and would not hesitate in recommending the service here to anyone looking to have work done on their car. Great job all round and long may it continue.

On two occasions I've had the pleasure of the fantastic service VC Motors offer in completing an MOT, oil change, service and complete brake pad replacement. In fact, so diligent was their work that they picked up that the garage I had purchased the car from secondhand had missed replacing key components at the last major service, which led to a nice ~£300 payment from the garage, thanks to VC Motors. I absolutely recommend their services and would go back without hesitation; for the record, I drive a high-end German car and had no qualms in using a 'local' garage.Services: Oil change

I went into VC motors last week with an issue of my car stalling when in idle after Halfords were unable to fix the issue and tried to rip me off for a new battery. The team were fantastic and quickly diagnosed that my car was just low on oil (something that Halfords should have easily spotted). I really appreciated how they explained the engineering behind how this effected the engine. Such a relief to find a reliable garage that won?t rip you off.
