Came in after a long day traveling this beautiful country. (Our hotels hoiy-toity restaurant food was meh, thankfully free, was not my thing)...here, we were greeted & seated right away. The waitress was fun and funny ans super easy going! Instrustions were clear that the kitchen closed at 9pm for food on a SUNDAY! that was awesome! the fish & chips were outstanding! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for great atmosphere and terrific service! we will most likley be back tomorrow if we are early enough. They are 1 block from our hotel. Super convenient!

Absolutely the worst customer service and as for the manager , I have no words . In for lunch , which to be fair was quite poor , my daughter opened the tomato sauce and the bottle literally exploded all over us . 4 staff and the manager at the bar and not one of them came to see if we were ok . I summoned over a staff member , who was apologetic , but the whole time the manager ignored us completely . Eventually she came over , slapped a receipt on the table and told us she had refunded our meals . While this was going on , we were being laughed at and heckled by a group of 9 grown men , who accused us of doing this to get a refund , which we NEVER asked for . I spoke to the manager about their behaviour and her attitude was disgusting , telling me this was a pub , not a restaurant , and wasn?t interested in the fact we had to listen to the constant use of the F word and C word and being laughed at by those men . No offer of wet clothes , not interested in the fact that my daughter had to strip down to her vest top and go out in the cold like this . You should be utterly ashamed of your managers behaviour . She was so rude and arrogant and told us to finish our drinks and leave . Reading other reviews and chatting with other customers , who were appalled , it seems she is well know for this type of behaviour . Once outside I called customer services , and a member of staff was clearly sent outside to listen to my call , which I told the agent about . We had no choice but to purchase new clothes so we could get home , might have been different if the manager had done her job and made sure we were ok and cleaned up . I will be looking for reimbursement for those clothes , and I really hope you deal with this terrible manager accordingly . Furthermore going by the very strong smell of vinegar from the sauce and the thin consistency it?s very clear this was watered down , otherwise this situation might not have happened

Got to be the best pub in Dundee, staff are fantastic and always happy to help with everything you need, the window look amazing and the place is always busy

Travelling all over the country, we often use Greene King, after the treatment from the staff here today we will never return.

Was in for breakfast, the food was ok, a bit greasy for me. Service was slow, the waitress kept leaving us to tend to others as we were ordering food!

I have lost thousands of pounds in here playing the slot machines and no member of staff has ever come up to me to ask me if I am OK with my level of gambling. This has been happening for 1 year now.

Great city centre pub. Lovely interior, good beer selection. Always fast and efficient service. Good pub food too, particularly the steak and ale or chicken, bacon & leek pies ??Good value for money.

Had a hearty breakfast, reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and pleasant.
