Any chance of either an easier to open door on this branch, or maybe just more aware staff? I couldn't open the door with one hand, so I leaned my crutch against the window making a tapping noise. That got the attention of the wee fella behind the counter, who helpfully rolled his eyes as he watched me struggle. Asking if he was open through the small gap I'd managed to open, he tutted & said "depends what for". Luckily I didn't need a better attitude as this branch is all out

Obnoxious,rude and unhelpful staff member. I went in with my wee girl to get a battery for her new watch from Santa. I knew the battery I needed because I had already opened the watch and identified it. The guy behind the counter had some kind of hissy fit because I missed out a single letter while specifying the battery, despite me telling him the correct number... there could only be one possible option. I then asked him if he had a wee screwdriver so I could pop it out of the watch and show him, which he refused and told me it would cost 30 quid for fitting. I then had to stand and google the battery code (turns out I had indeed specified it correctly apart from the superfluous initial "C")... only after all this he went straight to the drawer and pulled out the battery. As if he couldn't have just done that in the first place. Wee chancer. Lucky my daughter was there or there would have been a strongly worded rebuke. Avoid this place.

Visited Timpsons this morning to see about getting a new watch strap and battery. Reece was very helpful and knowledgeable. He gives a very high standard of customer service. Timpsons should be very proud of him

Be prepared to queue; it's a tiny hut that wouldn't fit more than 2 people at the best of times, let alone with distancing in place. I can't fault the service though. The guy in today was very friendly and helpful, and gave me a great price on watch batteries. Won't hesitate to return.
