I am still in disbelief. Planning on returning to Dundee after a long time working in London. I was offered the earliest viewing date to see a house which had just come on the market. I immediately paid for flights, hotel etc travelled up to Dundee on the day of viewing, them within two hours before my scheduled viewing time was told the property had gone under offer. Agree the seller can accept an offer at any time but two hours before they see a cash buyer is a bit odd. Complete waste of time and money. I won't be dealing with them again.

All the staff I interacted with over the legal aspect of purchasing a house in Dundee were great. Their local knowledge was invaluable and the sale went through in a month despite complications at the sellers' end. The legal team both followed up quickly with the sellers' solicitors, and also kept us informed at every stage. I would highly recommend the Thorntons team.

Service was excellent start to finish. Didn't have to chase them once during selling and buying. Kept us well informed. Didn't tell us what to do but gave options in a way that made things easy. Sold property for far more than expected and likely wouldn't have done without them.

Initially a live chat one evening & I passed on my full requirements of the type of property I am looking for. A very prompt email the next day with details of properties available in my range. Nothing suitable yet but the market does appear to be fairly quiet at the moment.

The biggest let down with customer care!! I phoned to view a property which they said they would get back to me i waited 2 weeks and the next call was to say it was under Offer????? Very Bad Communication !!!!

This property Company occupys a big office building space in the heart of tje town. Working with Dundee City Council & Solicitors this business has donated money to V &A in Dundee. I had no dealings but occupying a big office building and waste of business rates somehow I got an inclination that for a town with 150000 people the property made of concrete seemed larger than life in a area where the people are kind.

When purchasing a flat, Thornton's were the selling agent. They advertised the property with two parking spaces, it in fact only has one. When questioned about it they told us to park in the bin store (which are currently used for bins). Second bad experience with Thornton's.
