We both had the festive menu and as usual not disappointed!! I had the soup which was so tasty, my husband had the prawn cocktail which he thoroughly enjoyed. We both had the turkey which was excellent. Great service and friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Went for just a drink but ended up having a lovely lunch as well. Excellent friendly service from all the staff, really nice decor and the food and drink were spot on. Already planning on coming back to try the Sunday lunch ?

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.ASH AND HIS TEAM WERE BRILLIANT. SUCH GOOD RAPPORT. FITTED US IN WHEN THEY WERE FULLY BOOKED. FOOD WAS GREAT.HOT PLATES. PRICES MUCH CHEAPER THAN ANYWHERE NEARBY INCLUDING WINE. QUALITY WAS EXCELLENT ALL ROUND THERE WAS NOTHING THAT COULD BE FAULTED. RETURNED FOR A BRILLIANT SUNDAY DINNER AT AN INCREDIBLY GOOD PRICE.NEED TO BOOK BECAUSE IT IS SO POPULAR

We stopped for the Sunday roast which was fantastic. I got the Milford Mega roast with a little bit of everything which is my favorite way of doing it. I thought that the best was the chicken on haggis, then the pork, then roast beef, and finally ham. The potatoes were perfect! The peas are super fresh and still crisp and full of life. There were also various, but they aren't my thing.Food & drinks: Eat here!

Ash and staff were 5 star. Great pub and restaurant. Sunday lunch superb. We were treated like family. So relaxing. It was our 1st visit on our tour of Scotland. We were on our honeymoon 29 years ago so we were on a tour to places we didn't visit last time. So glad we found this gem this visit. Give the staff a pay rise , they deserve it. A lovely old mill building. Comfortable and quiet bar and dining room. First class table service and food. Specials and regulars are all very appealing and the cooking and presentation first class. Super drinks menu too. Always a warm welcome as you arrive, expect to settle in and relax for a few hours.
