This is the worst pub to go to me my 2 sisters and my friend where out and this group of older people started shouting and swearing at us I went and got the bouncer saying I was scared at this point they made an 18 year old have a panic attack and cry so after I got the bouncer he said we are fine he took care of it and told us to move away not them they where just told to leave us alone keep in mind we had been there since 9 o?clock and we where told to move even tho the bouncer told us we weren?t in the wrong at all we were told to move. We tried leaving but we couldn?t leave at all these people wouldn?t let us leave they then physically pushed an 18 year old so much that we had to hold her up and then tried to push my sister over too the bouncers didn?t do anything we then later come to find out these people are the bouncers neighbours which was probably why they didn?t get kicked out it was my first time there and I?d never ever recommend going there ever unless you live near the bouncers apparently

Poor service with over an hour wait for food. Staff didn't appear to be apologetic about it. In the end went elsewhere. would still visit for a drink but I'll skip dinner.

Having eating in most establishments in the ferry for breakfast. I decided to try the Fort for a full breakfast. Absolutely brilliant big plump mushrooms and locally sourced sausages yum. Highly recommend

We stayed for two nights as a wee getaway for the annual Eid festival. Never having booked before, we were pleasantly surprised by our experiences - the staff were incredibly polite and co-operative, the food served in-house was fantastic (and classically Scottish!) and the rooms could easily put international chains to shame. This place is where I had the absolute privilege to experience some of the best en-suite showering facilities in the world, the rooms were spacious and there was an undeniable feeling of calm and luxury. The hotel also has quieter accommodation for the bookish traveller as the town can get quite lively at night. We are grateful to the staff and owners for their services during our trip and will be heading back in the future for more.

Had a lovely lunch as always with my mum. Staff are always superb. The best place also for coffee, the blueberry scones are fantastic. Highly recommend.

10 of us in for a meal on Saturday afternoon, food was not great, more like convenience food rather than fresh home cooked. Whenever we asked for drinks we were left waiting significant amounts of time before they arrive if they remembered & when they did they were wrong. Finished out meal were then rushed as they needed tbd table so says we would go through to the bar only to be told no seats available so had to go elsewhere. So it was Thanks for your £250 but you can leave now. Won?t be back.

Took our group for a Xmas lunch. As expected, we were very well looked after, served very efficiently and everyone enjoyed their meal. Was a great way to round off our year. Definitely be back.
