“Visited mid afternoon, had a relaxed shopping experience purchasing all that I need at that I met. Shelves were full, fresh produce vegetables were sparser with more availability of fruit. Store was clean with pleasant cashier ringing through my items. Will revisit”
“I uses to come here with my husband before all the trouble started with persistent pandemic. Always had a pleasant experience. Hopefully with the relaxation of the lockdown measures we can begin to venture out of our safety bubbles and I can visit this place again. “Popped in for a cheeky wee breakfast this morning and there’s a few things you should know . Let’s start with the Staff . Morag (her name means Great or Greatness) provided the highest level of service of I have received in any superstore cafe.
I bought a big breakfast and a latte and was not disappointed. The food was fresh and probably on a par with some of the 5 star restaurants I have visited recently.
The food was so fresh it was melt in the mouth the eggs were cooked perfectly . I am honestly delighted with my time in Dundee west Cafe .
I wish Asda had many more staff like Morag . She is inspirational and made me feel very welcome. As a disabled person that’s something that doesn’t seem to happen often but Morag is the reason I would advise you to visit the cafe in Asda Dundee West .”

“The shop itself is lovely. Bit small but it’s only a metro store.The people outside it on the other hand can be quite questionable. Nethergate has a security guard and most of the time I’ll just see him stand around outside vaping and not doing much, but then on the other hand there has been times where I go in and he’s filling shelf’s so maybe he is selectively choosing what he needs or wants to do. (He could maybe stop all the arguments outside the shop but hey ho)The self serve machines are brilliant and I’ve personally had no issues but a thing worth noting is that none of them accept cash.Range of different products which clubcard prices also.I think the prices of items in this store is hiked up a wee bit because it’s mainly used by students which is unfair but I guess it’s business.”

“On entering the store the ground floor is spilt into the food shop and the ladies clothing, the first floor is sub divided into the cafe, lingerie, kids and a small men’s section. It looks very much like the men’s section was an afterthought and certainly doesn’t merit a visit too often. I went looking for a new blazer which there are only 3 examples and some nice double cuffed shirts, there wasn’t any. The space allocated for the men’s section is about the size of the old store. In summary: Very disappointing men’s section. Off to Matalan where’s there’s a larger selection we go….”
