I was super impressed with this hospital: from porters to surgeons the care was exceptional. Surgery - Pads on forehead read brain activity so you're just under and no more - gone is the dreadful groggy feeling from being over-sedated.

After injuring my foot I went to A&E today. After sitting 2hrs I was assessed by an extremely rude Dr. My husband and I were gobsmacked at how he spoke to me. All he kept saying was why im I not at my GP. ( 9) patients being seen, so not busy. After trying to explain why,he said well I can't guarantee you will get any answers today to what you have done, but you could see your GP who could help.I said no I wanted to see a dr at the hospital as might need an xray and foot strapped. He just stood up and said, go back to waiting area and someone else will come to speak to you then He walked away. Why is this an A&E department? What is classed as an emergency? Is a foot injury not? After maken some calls and paying privately I got seen at a different hospital.I have torn ligaments and nerve damage. My foot is strapped up and told to rest until I see them again on Friday. But Ninewells didn't even look at it or ask me to take my sock off.No wonder the NHS gets such a bad name with treatment like this.As an ex NHS employee I am absolutely disgusted at my treatment today.I certainly won't be supporting them in the future.Stay clear of This place staff are awful ?

Ninewells hospital is the primary health care hospital in NHS Tayside. The majority of main surgery takes place here with an accident and emergency department. A bus station is tight out side the hospital and taxi rank

Was on the neurological ward and MRI places and both weee fantastic, to be honest it?s the first hospital I have felt at ease with ever anywhere and even in the MRI I didn?t freak as they kept talking to me and distracting my thoughts from the confined space. One price of advice, do NOT buy coffee from any of the cafes it will make you have nightmares lol but the egg and ham salads are brilliant and the nurses make better coffee anyways laughs

The best teaching hospital in Scotland I just don't like going inside the building

Went to the hospital with a BROKEN nose and nurses told me that ?THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME?.It should be illegal NOT to treat an injured individual. Emergencies should be treated right away. It is inhumane to send home people without giving them the right treatment. It seems to me that their work is more of a receptionist rather than a trained health care professional.

The amount of ignorance I got there is unbelievable. You can fall unconscious, but probably still have to wait until someone invites you. And most likely they'll just go to the next person because you haven't responded

Although I?ve never been inside the hospital I?ve been right at the parking lot and the design of the parking spaces and hospital is not very good it?s quite difficult to navigate and get around especially for someone who?s not local, this place is not recommended if your trying to get in it if your injured or have an appointment because you?ll get lost looking for the entrance ?
