This store is so crucial as there's not many grocery shops in Dundee city centre that sell low-priced food. A lot of students use the shop as well as low- income customers. Considering how small and busy it is, it's really good. As a customer who has used the store weekly for years, some comments: The tills should be open 5 - 6.30/7pm. The milk should be faced up so customers can reach it. No bags on the floor at bakery area - slip hazard. The Dundee High kids buy all the bakery items so theres nothing left at 5pm. No trolleys blocking aisles at peak times. More staff helping on self- service/ general till area at peak times. Otherwise, great store.

Availability and choice range getting worse by the month in this particular store. You will never find triangle cheese or tomato paste. Bakery shelf empty most of the time recently.

Well-located Lidl in Dundee city centre ? great value but some stock issues later in the day
This Lidl is a solid choice if you?re in central Dundee and need to do a quick shop or pick up groceries on a budget. It?s just a short walk from the main shopping streets and easily accessible on foot.
The store is clean and generally well-organised. The fresh produce and bakery sections are usually well-stocked ? their croissants and seeded rolls are especially good. Prices are very competitive, and the weekly ?Middle of Lidl? deals often have surprising finds, from kitchenware to hiking gear.
Staff are friendly and efficient, and the self-service checkouts are a time-saver if you?re in a rush.
One downside is stock availability later in the day, especially in the meat section. It?s not unusual to find shelves a bit empty by early evening, especially on weekends. If you?re planning a bigger shop or want more selection, it?s best to go earlier in the day.
Parking is available but limited and a bit tight. If you?re walking, though, it?s a great spot.
Overall, a reliable and affordable store with good variety ? just try to avoid shopping late if you need meat or fresh stock.

Absolutely terrible as was shopping with my partner and both of us were stopped ? because we had liberated a juice drink which I already had in my pocket and because the store had the same! So I was automatically stolen it as I never asked for q receipt for it from a newsagents shop don't get a receipt unless you ask but for some juice do you ask for a receipt for it? So for the embarrassing moment in which everyone is looking at me and just put stuff to the side before the hard hand tactics escalated as the security thought they were on a television show ? anyway I have never shopped there again and never will,bunch of joke's security! Anyone else don't put urself in the position of being called a theif Just don't shop there! As town one is better!

Smaller than a "normal" Lidl, but good central location and still Lidl prices. Remember to scan your receipt and enter your car registration number if you have used the customer parking to avoid a ticket (max. 60 minutes parking). Good for a quick shop.

My local shop, I lost my wallet in store and A manager Natalia Kindly found me on Facebook so I could get it back during busy hours and then wouldn't take anything as a thank you- An extremely kind hardworking person it seems :))
