First time in a Wetherspoons hotel. Number 112 pub.
Arrived and the card key for the room didn't work. Not a good start. All improved from there on.

Visited today (07/08) and the food was lovely... Macaroni much better than the Alloa one. Though their was only two of us, my friend and I took a table of 6 as we had some Paperwork to do.
Lovely to see all staff smiling, working efficiently and being very welcoming. Amy in particular has served me before - she's so kind, polite and easy to have a conversation with ?. She's a fantastic asset to the team and in my opinion has earned her place... from Aaron at table 75 (blur hair).

Had all day brunch eggs looked good must have been under the warmer for a long while they were like rubber one member of staff at the bar at lunch time with a long line of people is not good I don?t think I will eat at Wetherspoons again on a good side the beer was good and the price was good

Thought i?d try the chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream on desserts menu? Well, I won?t be doing that again. Toilet bowl now has a crack in it, house is smells absolutely putrid and dogs currently spitting fur balls.
Order this fudge cake if you are looking to spend the rest of your week sitting on a bowl and making your residing party regret the birth of you due to the lack of freshness in the air.

Excellent hotel in the middle of Broughty Ferry. Food was good. The staff were friendly. The bedroom were big enough with your own shower room and tea/coffee facilities. Would stay again

Had been out a walk along the esplanade. Very warm day so went into Jolly's Hotel for a cool glass of wine ?. It was cheaper to buy a bottle than 2 glasses, so we bought a bottle of wine. Great service, very busy place, friendly and helpful staff and ambience. Highly recommend this cheerful place.

My only complaint is the false menu description.... quality poor too ....since when has American style cheese on a beef patty burger been a cheap craft slice from lidl , hard as a brick burger , cheap beer is a massive bonus but probably due to cut backs food poor quality and it's not reasonable cost ..

Room 4 velux window. Should have been mentioned when booking. Grateful no fire risk during stay.! Bit stuffy and enclosed.
