Avoid. Dangerous. The car this garage sold near caused my wife and children a very serious accident. When repairing the power steering of the car which failed shortly after buying the car they rethreaded the wheel wrong which then completely broke while it was being driven. They offered no refund or partial refund or any compensation. Very poor service.

Be VERY VERY careful if you are buying a car here. The MOT document maybe meaningless. I purchased a car privately which had 11months mot with the certificate coming from Barnhill garage. When taking to garages for the advisories to be looked at there is serious corrosion at the rear axle. A hole large enough for a grown man to put his hands through. Obviously buyer beware of private sales, but customers should be able to trust an MoT certificate from a local garage to be an accurate reflection of the condition of a car. In my case over past 6 weeks I've had 3 garages quote to repair the corrosion they have all said the work isn't feasible to repair and give the significance of the corrosion it's extremely unlikely that the car should have passed its MOT on 9th June 2023 and it's potentially unsafe to drive. Posting this on 3 Nov 2024 as I spoke to John McGregor today. He wasn't concerned about reviewing his work or working together to see how this has happened. It's sad that the garage that signed off on the work is unwilling to review. It'll have to go for mediated review through VOSA. The garages were kind enough to show me the car on a ramp so I have photographic evidence, so people can take a look for themselves and decide if they think the level of corrosion is reasonable to of occured over the summer and autumn to the extent it allegedly has since it's most recent MOT.

Please do not buy the black yeti my son just returned it on Saturday 21st Nov after weeks of trouble with it. Very noisy A/C which they never fixed and oil leak which they never fixed. He only managed 1990 miles in 4 months as it was in and out of their garage and nothing was ever done. He go his deposit back on Saturday and now bought a newer one from a highly recommend dealer. Buyer beware.
