If you want bumped go to Halfords. Put car in for a service. Thought I?d give them a go.
Said my brakes pads and discs were down to the metal.(Paperwork saying they?re well within legal limit and discs are at 80%)£600 to replace,.Renew battery £356.17.
Just been quoted £250 from my normal garage and he was scratching his head at why they would want to replace discs at 80%.
Cause there charging £425.08 for them that?s why.
Guy was mumbling prices to me on the phone. Either embarrassed or knew he was chancing it with me. I had to tell him to slow down, cause he was just firing prices at me.
Then when I told them no. They were being super arsey when I went to pick the car up. Car boxed in in the carpark.
Can only imagine how many people who wouldn?t say no to them have been ripped off.
If they?re willing to do that to someone like me imagine how they?d treat a young lassie or an old person.
Would have given zero stars but doesn?t allow.

Always use this garage. Always a great service and friendly to deal with. The car Always comes back spot on. Paul and the lads are always helpful and point you in the right direction if the car needs any works doing. I won't go anywhere else when I need my car to be worked on.

Never again. I dropped off my car there after making arrangements with the owner to arrange a time. Okay, so I delivered the car and he said it would be ready in two business days. I called the next day and he said he was waiting for the parts in two days and it would be ready on Tuesday. I called on Monday before they closed and was told he would call me back within 10 minutes if he found out what was wrong with the car. Of course, he didn't call back and just brushed me off. So I called again the next day and agreed the car would be ready in a week. I arrived a week later, nothing had been done in two weeks. I took the car and said goodbye. They were unprofessional, unreliable, and the owner was very sly.

We've been bringing our car here for around 4 years where I think it's been under Paul's management the whole time. For all our regular stuff (MOT, service, winter tyre swap) it's always been fair priced and straightforward. Even though it's busy they usually do things exactly when they say it'll be done and it's ready for pickup as expected, and if the deadline slips they're pretty good with keeping you informed over the phone. They've also done some bigger things for us (new clutch, disk pad replacements) and I was satisfied with the work done. I also remember once we had Paul look at a problem for us and it turned out to be a silly mistake on our part which he rectified without charge, which was much appreciated.

Just as last time,my appointment rescheduled for the next day,for no reason at all,they are over booked and can't keep up with their costumers, guy in charge with appointments it's just too rude , not friendly at all,u don't feel welcomed there ,no place to park the car nor leave the car there for next day,had to take the car back home and take it back for mot next day.I wish i could give this review -5 star just because this happens for the second time with the same garage, thought giving it another try because maybe first time i was just unlucky.Never again,lesson learned.

Fantastic experience from mechanic, Ryan. Was desperate for a spring after it went on my E90 330d on a Saturday. Ryan fitted me in and it was completed within a matter of hours. Granted it wasn?t the cheapest, but I was desperate and experienced a great service. Thanks again

Put car in for a service and MOT. Very easy to book online, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Explained everything along the way. Car failed MOT due to wishbone and staff explained what needed to be done in layman's terms you could understand. Definitely recommend and will be using again.
