I brought my car in for service. I initially was very happy- the receptionist seemed lovely. She told me I was charged less as the full service did not take as long as they expected due to car being in great condition and no faults were found.I drove back home (5 miles or less), however in the morning I discovered one of the alloys is completely scratched and the tyre was ribbed - I emailed Franks with the photo of my wheel in a polite manner. I?ve not reported it upon collection of the vehicle as I didn?t expect my car to have a damage after a visit in the garage. The response from Franks was very accusatory and I essentially was told that the damage must of been done before my visit. Very disappointing customer service. I would expect lack of taking responsibility but not in that tone- I know they have damaged the wheel, but I also understand I don?t have a photo right before I took it to Franks. I also asked if that?s the case, how what that not picked up during FULL service- I was told the service is essentially just replacing all the fluids. I quickly found the info on another garage?s website of what they include in full service for not much more money- a full comprehensive service with checking each element of the car. They have a lot of great reviews which prompted me to book my car with them. Probably only until everything goes well and there?s no issues. I would definitely not recommend to anyone. Very poor customer service and the value for money with FULL service that only covers -?anti freeze/ washers /coolant / oil / check over the vehicle ?, also considering the cost of repair of my tyre and alloy.

Went for MOT , asking £500 repairing cost and charges mot fee as well Then I go another centre they were done and pass it with no advisories and charged only mot fee.

Wife told me to come here so did that on the off chance I could be seen and I only had to wait 20 mins or so to get 2 new tyres fitted and very reasonably priced, would recommend ?

Been in Franks Garage change two tyres for my working van. That's second time and now I even more impressed with service. Warm welcome by big man him self, then one minute later been already in bay and mechanics started work. Those guys are fantastic, been waiting like twenty minutes and everything done and dusted. This the Best garage in Dundee without any doubts. Going using for my company and private car in the future for sure.
