Last time we ate a a beefeater in (basingstoke) it was awful food barely edible. So wasn't expecting much when we checked into the attached hotel.
Which we stayed at due to being crashed into and waiting on a hire car...
Food was delicious to my relief, and waiters were amazing.

Me and my husband stayed in the premiere Inn for a week July 2025 to 5th of August 2025 we have been coming to the beefeater a few years now the beefeater is situated in the premier Inn I would like to say the beefeater is fantastic the food is delicious the chefs are amazing the staff are incredible especially Jamie and Amanda and Connie and Lynn and Claire and kaitlyn you couldn't ask for better table service from these guys they are all so polite nothing is a bother for them there always smiling the other servers as well who do an amazing job as well its all these guys that make the beefeater a very happy place to go and enjoy delicious food you don't have to stay in the Premier Inn to go to the beefeater you don't even have to book a table you can just go in and they will accommodate you it's all table service in the beefeater for lunch and dinner and for breakfast you help yourself to a full breakfast and continental if you don't want any of the breakfast the chefs will accommodate you on anything you want nothing is a bother for them the staff in the beefeater made our stay joyous we've booked for next year again for the Premier Inn and we book all our breakfasts and evening meals in the beefeater if anyone is reading my review please go to the beefeater and try there amazing food and get a chat with the staff you won't be disappointed. They are incredible

Absolutely shocking! Food shocking, to say this was disappointing is an understatement!! As we were staying at the Premier Inn next door we decided to eat here, but microwaved cheap rubbish is not our idea of a good meal. The managerial staff were clearly out of their depth and blamed younger members of staff for errors that were clearly not their fault. Beefeater need to overhaul their t&g as we were unable to get the special offers of 2 for 1 meals unless we had been there for 48 hours!! By which time we would be home again!! Avoid at all costs!!

Food wasn't as good as the last time i was here, portions were smaller and the burger was burnt. The coleslaw was absolutely disgusting almost made me gag, no idea why restaurants use that slimy coleslaw out of a tub when it's so easy to make.

Central Beefeater has become a regular of ours as the food is always served hot and fresh and the service is pretty much spot on. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We will see you all again soon. Thank you.
