Never used ChipsAway before however I have a slight scratch and small but tricky dent on my quarter panel from a hit and run, I went in and didn?t have to wait at all before the gentleman working there came out. He was honest enough to explain how he could fix up the scratch and bigger but hardly noticeable dent going upwards, but repairing the main dent was beyond what they can provide, and that it probably wouldn?t be worthwhile using his services in terms of cost to benefit. Love the honesty on his part, could?ve easily taken my money in exchange for a hardly improved appearance. On top of that he spent a good 10 minutes explaining this to me, and what my options were and how I could improve appearance in the meantime for little money. He?s definitely knowledgable in his field and went into depth exploring a few ideas about what to do and what not to do. It was pouring down with rain outside and he was visibly getting soaked but he patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions and was happy to help out. It?s qualities like these that give a business a good reputation and bring them customer loyalty. In fact I?d only thought of visiting this place because of word of mouth. Due to his honesty, insight and patience which he expected nothing in return for, I now know exactly who to (hopefully not) visit in the future if needed - and if someone needs a scratch or dent repair then I?ll recommend chipsaway off the top of my head because I had a memorable positive experience with them.

My Skoda Kodiaq drivers door was knocked by someone in car park. Michael carried out the work in less than a day and you wouldn?t even know the door was ever dented. Top man! Brilliant service!Had a nasty scratch to the tailgate of my car and had it assessed by the lovely gent at Chips Away in Dundee. He had a thorough look at it, explained the situation and gave an estimate for the job. Happy with the quote, got the car booked in for a Friday, and dropped it off at 9am, and returned to collect at the back of 4pm the same day.I'm over the moon with the work he's done.It's like the scratch never happened and looks better than new. I was worried that the paint might not match the rest of the car, but there was no need to be concerned since it looks exactly like the rest of the car. Super!I feel the job was affordable on the wallet too. It wasn't astronomical by any means in my opinion and I'm happy with what I've paid.If I ever need a scratch repair done again (here's hoping never again, in a good way!) the gent at Chips Away is the person I would go to.Top marks from me. 10/10 ???

The job was done in a day as estimated and the work looks good so very happy with the service. Time will tell on the finish with water based paint but there is a 2 yr warranty so there is cover.
