Bright Care has been supporting my dad in his own home for the last three years, with the care changing to live in care last year due to his advancing dementia. It has worked really well with dad generally presenting as content and very well looked after in the home he feels happy in. My siblings and I are able to get on with our busy lives without having the day to day worry of how dad is, and we get the benefit of enjoying our visits to dad as he is prepared and supported through them. The care package is working for all of us.

I am a current employee for Brightcare and I wished I worked from them ages ago! I had heard great things about them and decided to apply. The application process is thorough and they know exactly who they want to employ. Communication is strong and the management are helpful, available and supportive. You are encouraged to stop by the office to say hello if you are passing by.As a Bright Carer, you are matched to your clients and see them on a regular basis, building a friendship and supportive environment. Visits are a minimum of 2 hours allowing you and the client to go places they want and really give them the support they need in their own homes.Overall, Brightcare have given me job security even though I am on a zero hour contract that works around my other commitments. I have regular hours and I know where I stand with my progress due to their supervision process.

My mum has Alzheimer?s and lives aloneBrightcare have helped my mum accept companionship and help into her home ..she has always been resistant and really has no insight into her condition and abilitiesBrightcare carried out an excellent initial assessment of mums needs with sensitive questions ..mum was then matched with a carer and an agreed 2 hour date and time weekly ..mum has really enjoyed chatting and going out for cuppa with her carer. It cheers her up and is a change from just my sister and IBrightcare communications are excellent , Lee and Rachael in office extremely helpful and seeing feedback regarding visit in phone app is very helpfulThis help and support has been an important part in mums journey to accepting help outwith the family

What a wonderful Service Bright Care provide, Mum loves her visits from Gill, along with their outings in the car to go for coffee and cake! Mum so looks forward to the laughter and chat she shares with Gill. I found this service advertised in the Gala Week magazine and am so glad I made enquiries and arranged to meet Lee to find out more. Lee was so welcoming and she spoke so passionately about the service Brightcare offered, so I didn't hesitate to arrange this for Mum. Thank you all so much for the joy you bring to Mum. xxx

Our experience with Brightcare has been exceptional. They have managed through the challenging situation of getting my mother to accept help and she now is comfortable and appreciative of the support she receives from the carers who help and support her. It is a journey for all of us and I cannot thank the team at Brightcare in Broughty Ferry enough for all they are doing.

Bright Care organised 24hr care for my husband in the last 4 months of his life: based on my experience, I recommend them to anyone considering using their services. The management team were excellent, with clear and prompt communication, responding to issues as they arose and taking on responsibility for many aspects of my husband's care, including communicating with doctors, organising medication and suggesting ways of improving his quality of life. The carers were exemplary in the hands on care they provided. Nothing was too much for them, and they did whatever was required on a daily basis to care for my husband. While we did have an initial 'clash of personalities' with one carer, this was resolved quickly and without fuss by the management team. While the cost of care can seem expensive, we found that, after allowing for Council contribution to the cost, it was comparable with the cost of a Residential Care home, but allowed my husband to see out his days in his own home, which was priceless.Thoroughly recommended.

The best company too work for, Lee and Eilidh were the best bosses you could have. Nothing was too much trouble and they really cared about their carers and their clients. Would highly reccomend working for Brightcare if you are thinking about becoming a carer. The training you have is second to none and Donna the trainer was so knowledgeable and a delight to learn from. I loved my time at brightcare?

I joined Bright Care in August 2021, a change of career for me, after 20 years in a call centre/office environment. Excellent training package for beginners like me, amazing support from my managers in the Broughty Ferry and matched to clients that I simply love going to support. I am grateful everyday for the choice I made to change career and to have the support I need from Bright Care.

I have worked with Bright Care, Broughty Ferry branch since Oct 2020. There is a genuine approach to matching client and carer and with a minimum of a 2 hour visit you really get to know each other, to build trust and friendship which makes this job so rewarding. The office staff and line management are always available to support and listen to any challenges you may have or for you to pass on important information to your team colleagues. In short, I love my job and I have the most amazing clients. No two days are the same. For me it?s not like a job, it?s a privilege to be able to support someone or a couple in their own home to live safely and with dignity. If you are considering a career in care this is a company head and shoulders above any other!

When our elderly mum became housebound we approached Brightcare to see if they could provide a live-in care package. So far (4 weeks into a care plan) it has been a very positive experience: mum can continue to live in her own home, where she is now much safer & less at risk from falling. Additionally, she is being better fed & cared for, has constant company & is even getting out in her wheelchair with the help of her fantastic carers. Her quality of life has greatly improved. It has also take a huge burden of worry & logistics off our shoulders, allowing us to spend quality time with mum instead of having to arrange all the things she previously needed, such as medication, shopping & hospital appointments.I would thoroughly recommend the excellent team at Brightcare.

My first point of contact with Bright Care was my telephone conversation with EILIDH in Brought Ferry. From the very beginning she was kind, warm and a calm voice when I was in an exhausted crisis as carer for my Dad.Eilidh listened and spoke to me for approx 30 mins that first call, there was no, please call back to discuss at a more suitable time. She met my Dad and was respectful and patient with him and so helpful to me. From the very first contact I felt safe and supported, that I had found help for me and Dad.The crisis I had been in felt like it was being lifted from that day on and we have never looked back. Eilidh didn't know it but I was very emotional that evening having felt such relief to have found help.Eilidh took time to find the correct match for Dad and Linda has transformed our lives. My Dad simply adores her, and she him. Linda is remarkable in her kindness, her loving nature and wonderful sense of fun along with superb observation to keep him safe, but respecting his wishes too.Every aspect of Dads care is tailored individually to him. Every plan checked and agreed with me and Dad. Things I had not thought of tactfully suggested to improve Dads life.Having Linda gives me time off to enjoy the time I do have with Dad more, so the care and support I give him has improved too.Every day feels like being in a TV ad for how good quality care should be. I cannot think of one criticism of how things have been for my family and I cannot ever express how grateful I am to have found these wonderful people and welcomed them into our lives.RegardsFiona Fraser

Great company to work for, brilliant training and many benefits and incentives available to staff. Visits are a minimum of two hours so you get the time to build good relationships with clients.
