Dreadful service-staff are ?jobs worths?, prescriptions seem to take ages, they get ?lost?. They don?t deserve the business they get from the surgery across the road! Service was way better when it was Bannermans. My advice-use the pharmacy in the High Street instead.

My mother ordered her prescription, and expected delivery within the usual 2 -4 days. This was on a Tuesday and by the following Monday, still no prescription. She phoned high street pharmacy and explained situation, although before she had even finished full story, she was interrupted by usual, ?when did you order it, have to allow enough time?. In a nutshell, my elderly, housebound mother was given the runaround and was told to phone chemist across from doctors incase it had went there, they told her to phone surgery, who knew nothing about it, as whoever had taken her original order, hadn?t processed it. Mistakes can happen, but usually an elderly person on medication, needs their medication.!! Basic customer service, especially with an older person would usually dictate that the pharmacy assistants do the phoning round branches, and perhaps the most obvious, apologise for mistake. Just a simple sorry. My mum by this time had been without her prescription for a few days, and was desperate to receive it. In past she has been told the delivery service is voluntary and they don?t have to deliver to anyone, so in a panic she contacted me to collect it. Again, this was medication for an elderly lady, that she has run out of because of mistake by pharmacy. Haven?t apologised for mistake, have made her do the work trying to track it down, and can?t even offer to deliver it. I do believe if I hadn?t collected it, they would have made her wait till next day. Really need to rethink basic customer service, and how the vulnerable, like the elderly are looked after should a mistake occur

Their behaviour today was absolutely disgusting. Repulsive.People in dire need of medication were outside and the horrid woman was standing smiling shaking her head saying they're closed , even though it was only 5:15 and says on the door the opening time is until six. They let another customer in but not me or the man who was down for his elderly house bound dad. These were urgent / emergency prescriptions... They allowed some people in but wouldn't allow myself or the man in , eventually reluctantly they passed it through the door but wouldn't help the man who's dad was very poorly. They're so jobsworth and it seemed they got a little authority and we're loving it. They're always jobsworth and rude at any opportunity.I hope karma is real.Made no sense they let some people in but not others.

On 1 April 2020, quite unexpectedly, Bannerman's, Well Place, delivered a repeat prescription to us 7 miles north of Dunblane. This was an an unexpected kindness of the type that will make this crisis much more bearable for all. Thank you and best wishes to all your staff.
