A brilliant meal to end a brilliant day, great service, seated by one of the male staff, then mostly served & looked after by Hannah, who was really easy going & gave us time, also was able to have a laugh with us. Quick service which is always appreciated, nothing was too much hassle.

Excellent room comfortable bed, good shower. Clean. Breakfast Excellent. Best service we've had for a long time. Marsten should be proud of their staff, Hannah and the bar staff great and very friendly even though they are busy. Went out of their way to get us a table. Only negative is the price of the drinks. Great EV fast Chargers in the car park.

We were impressed with both the hotel and restaurant elements of this establishment. We checked in for our room in the restaurant and the rooms are situated in the building next door. Room was lovely and clean with good Wifi and comfortable bed. A good nights sleep.

Conveniently located next to 2 higher power EV charging points and a supermarket fuel station- neither charger occupied on a Saturday afternoon when I visited - I was impressed with the speed of service and the food. The toilets were clean and well stocked.There were a range of people in from a young family with dog, to a group of offshore workers having a semi-meeting at one of the tables through to me - a traveller from England having a break.

Stayed here 2 nights. The rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. We walked to Dunbar in 15 minutes although a bus passes nearby every 30 minutes so location is ideal. We had amazing reasonably priced breakfast both mornings. The best part about this establishment is the staff. Management and staff could not be any more friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate recommending and would definitely return.

We stayed for one night, they were friendly, the room was clean and tidy, the bed was so comfortable, as they had two separate mattresses on the double bed, so when one of us moved we didn't disturb the other, the meal was nice, again staff was helpful

After a very disappointing visit a few months ago, regarding long wait for food etc, we were given compensation by way of a voucher for free main meals.We went back last week and were delighted with the service and quality of food.Our server Hannah W was just lovely and couldn't do enough for us.My hubby had the mixed grill, it was amazing.I had steak pie and it was lovely.We'll definitely be back.

Good pub food, friendly and professional staff. Great service. I would recommend this for a nice and casual dinner/lunch. Nice beer garden too when the weather is nice which it always has been when we visit. Thank you to kitchen staff and Hannah W. Great service ?

Hannah W was a fantastic server, cheerful and so helpful. The food here really exceeded expectations. Really nice. My children had chicken gougons which they said were the nicest thing they?d ever eaten. Highly recommended

Sunday 25th June arrived at Pine Marten we were met by I think the manager who very friendly and helpful and he booked us in for an evening meal. Hannah was serving our table she was very bubbly and happy person and made ordering a pleasure.Overall I can't fault the accommodation or the staff. Very convenient right near that A1.

We (Family of 5) went over to the Pine Marten for an evening meal. The team were extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was really good and didn't take long to come out. It was busy as it was father's day, everyone seemed happy with the service. Highly recommended!

Brought my elder mum here for lunch. She?s a wheelchair user so we sometimes have problems but the restaurant here was great. Blue badge parking right by the entry way. Everything on the level and plenty of space between and around the tables. The staff couldn?t do enough to help us and really made us welcome. The food was great with plenty of choices to suit all tastes. We?ll be back

Had a two night stay last weekend in the Pine Martin where we found the staff pleasant and very friendly, accomodation with bath /shower, t.v. and tea coffee making facilities. The Scottish breakfast is a sight to behold, with all the meals very good. A good selection of drinks in the bar areas made it a great weekend in Dunbar. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
