I had a mechanical issue with my gears. Popped in unannounced, and by the time I had drunk my coffee from the garage my bike was ready and I was back on the road again. Great service from a great bloke

Good but expensive. Colin was friendly and helpful on the phone and in store. I asked for a full cable replacement set (2 brake cables, 2 gear cables, brake housing, gear housing, caps and 2 noodles) and was charged £34 for it - which I found quite dear. Colin informed me it's because he stocks very high quality components (KBLE transfil). If you're looking for cheap ol' Shimano you'll need to go elsewhere.

Dont waste your time with halfords. Went twice and totally messed around with lack of communication, lack of knowledge, and excuses. Went to Belhaven bikes and fault found and fixed within no time at all. Also contacted me to say bike was ready. 100% recommend and bike booked in for full service. Extremly knowledgeable and friendly.

As usual, Colin goes above and beyond. My venerable fourteen year old mtb went in for a service with all sorts of knocks and rattles and problems changing gear. Out it came as good as new. One happy cyclist.
